Katherine's POV

"Wait you know Marcellus?" Klaus asks

"Yeah I have known him since he first turn into a vampire." I answer

Him and Elijah both stare at me like they just got hit with some shocking news.

"But if you were here then-." I cut him off

"Yes Klaus that means I was in New Orleans when you and Elijah were. Just because I was scared of you finding me doesn't mean I couldn't check on my precious Elijah. I'm surprised you being the mighty hybrid and all you would have known I was there. Ever since I killed myself and turned into a vampire I had to keep an eye on him. being in love with him and all. You understand right?" I finish

"I can tell you exactly all the places I were when you and Elijah were there. Paris 1789, Rome 1531, Greece 1632 shall I keep going?" I raise my eyebrow

"Wow Klaus are you really that bad at finding people? Is that why you haven't located the Lockwood boy?" Elijah laughs

Elijah keeps laughing then looks at Klaus and stops when he sees his face.

"I'm sorry Klaus but its kind of funny she's been under your nose this whole time."

"Okay you didn't notice her either now did you. Surely you would have  noticed her too." Klaus finishes and Elijah's smirk is gone.

There is an awkward moment of silence before Hayley breaks it.

"Anyway what are we doing about marcel?" she asks

"We aren't going to do anything little wolf. You are going to stay here with Katherine where its safe."

"Um... No I'm not going to be a babysitter to Hayley she can handle her self. Plus I am the only one marcel can truly trust."

"How do you figure that?"

"Of course he knows you are going to try to reclaim your spot as "King" he's not stupid. I mean Elijah did take part in raising him." I wink at Elijah

Klaus glares at me and Hayley just standing there smiling.

"She has a point. I am pretty smart. thank you Katerina."

"Okay fine you can help. But I need something to show him that he has my trust too. I might as well tell you what my plan was but since I didn't know Katerina was going to be here with you I cant do it now."

"What was it?" Elijah asks

"I was going to dagger you and give you to marcel as insurance and a token of my trust and then when the time was right I was going to get you back from him. But that's down the drain now."

"Do it." Elijah suggest

"What?! Are you crazy? There's no way you are agreeing to that Elijah." I argue

"Katerina think about it if we need to gain his trust I am the perfect person to do that."

"Still its a suicide mission."

"I hate to say this Elijah but she's right. I- I mean we can find a better way then what my original plan was." Klaus agrees with me

"I'm the one that's going to be getting daggered I think I should make the decision don't you think?" he looks towards me

"It's not happening Elijah. Its too risky. I'm not going to allow it." I say

I see Klaus speed over to me and I hear bones crack then everything goes black.

Elijah's POV

"What the hell Klaus! What did I say about hurting her?" I yell

"Calm down Elijah she can wake up. Plus she's objecting , if you want to do this I have the dagger on me. I cant help your wishes if she's awake right now."

"Okay do it." I say as I feel a sharp pain in my chest. Its time.
