We spent the next few days in New York, helping Steve adjust to living in the 21st century which had to be one of the funniest things to watch. The first night when we went back to the apartment, JARVIS greeted us, as all ways. Steve had no idea where the voice was coming from and was convinced that there was someone in the room. The look on his face when we found out what JARVIS was priceless. It went from shock, to disbelief and then amazement. Even though he picked up on things pretty quick, there would always be something new that he discovered.
More than anything, I loved watching Steve and Elsa together. He was determined to make up for missing the first 4 and a half years of her life, no matter what. One day I came back from grocery shopping to find the two of them asleep on the couch after watching Beauty and the Beast and it was one of the most heart-warming things I had ever seen. Elsa had fallen asleep curled up on Steve's lap with one if his arm's cradling her. Somehow Steve had ended up with her pink cat and was hugging it with his other arm. After quickly taking a photo of the two, I covered them with a blanket and let them sleep.

Elsa and I also had a lot of fun catching Steve up with all the latest movies. Of course, with his perfect memory Steve had wanted to watch What a wonderful life and Harvey with Jimmy Stewart. Then Elsa had insisted that he watch all the Disney Princess movies and being the wonderful father that he was, Steve watched them all with her.
The most fun we had was introducing him to Star Wars. We started with A New Hope, not wanting to ruin the whole 'Luke, I am your father' thing. Steve was generally shocked at the revelation, insisting that Darth Vader was trying to trick Luke. Which lead to Elsa saying that he was being silly, of course Darth Vader was Luke's daddy, everyone knew that. So that night Steve stayed up to watch all six of the movies, wanting to know the whole story. And to no one's surprise, Obi Wan Kenobi turned out to be his favourite character.
