            ****** At Lover's Lane ******

Lucinda's POV

I was with Kim in my house, trying to be able to cast at least one spell. I was able to make potions but not spells, ugh! I focused on a plastic bottle trying to get it into the garbage can beside it. Yes! It's lifting up!

"Ugh!", I said in frustration as it fell back on the ground. I fell backward on the couch upset that I'm still no closer to getting my powers back.

"Great job Lucinda! You were so much closer this time! I'm sure in no time you'll be bigger and better at magic!", Kim said picking the bottle up and putting it in the bin.

"Thanks, but you say that every time, what if I never get my powers back-", I began but I was cut off by Kim-err Ghost.

"Well what do you want us to say!? That you are nowhere close!?"

"Ghost!", Kim began to scold her.

"No it's okay Kim, Thanks both off you for the support."

"No problem Lucinda.", they said in unison.

"Hey, isn't Laurance and Dante supposed to be coming back in a few weeks?", Kim asked. Dante and Laurance had gone to visit some family the day before we came back for a few months.

"Oh yeah they are. How are we going to explain to them about what happened at Starlight?", I asked aloud, "I mean, what if the completely flip after we tell them and go blab about it to reporters."

"Lucinda, if they're our friends I'm sure that they'll understand what happened.", Ghost said.

"Easy for you to say, I'm the one who has to tell them I have a Ghost inside of my body which is able to ease drop on every conversation I have.", Kim said.

That caused me to laugh. "WAIT!"

"What's wrong!?", they asked.

"Aphmau and Travis are coming in just a few months!"

"You're right!"

"Seriously, you nearly killed Kim to tell us that. Not that it's not important but you made us think that something was wrong."

"Oops, sorry. But we should have a party to welcome them back home! And then after that we can tell Laurance and Dante was happened!"

"Good idea Lucinda.", Kim told me, "Lets tell the others about our idea, oh and..., did you hear any news about Garroth and Zane recently?"

"Nope, not really. I think have they're becoming better at being brothers so far.", I told her.

"Oh, okay then. I'm going over to Garroth's place to check up on him and then the others."

"Surrreee.", I said with a smirk

"W-What's that for?"

"I just find it strange that you ask about Garroth first.", I told her.

"W-well, I also find it strange you thought about Laurance and Dante first!", she said folding her arms.

"Pff! Ha-ha you were the one who brought them up, besides relax Kim. I was just teasing you.", I said laughing.

"Hmph, now you have a sense of humour. Either way I'm going to see him and we're going to see Zane last Ghost."

"What, But I want to see him now.", Ghost wined.

"No, if I do that it's going to take a longer time to calm you down after. Oh, Lucinda, since we were speaking of Travis what did you do with the spell book after we got it back?"

I sighed, "I looked it up in my basement in a vault. Honestly, we don't need to remember about what happened now."

"Agreed, bye now Lucinda!", Kim said leaving.
