Chapter 83

Kim's POV:

I woke up and first thing I did was run to the bathroom to check the mirror. Sure enough the ears and tail were gone. I let out a sigh of relief then looked at my bed. There was a ton of fur on the sheets. After I cleaned my bed and ate breakfast I decided that I would probably go hang out with Aph today. Or maybe one of the other girls. We'll see. I walked out the house and began to walk down the street. I had just walked past Garroth and the boys house when someone ran into me. We both fell with a thud.

"Woops! Sorry.", a masculine voice said.

I looked up and saw a man with brown hair and green eyes wearing a green scarf and brown shirt with blue jeans. He offered out his hand to help me up and I took it gratefully.

"Don't worry about it. I haven't seen you around before. Are you new here? Then again, I'm pretty new here myself.", I said laughing at the last part awkwardly.

"Yeah, I kinda am. Hey, have you seen a woman about this tall, with green eyes and black hair and won't stop talking about Beyoncé?", he asked raising his hand just over his head.

"Nope. But the woman you're describing sounds familiar. Maybe I could help you look for her?" I offered.

"Thanks. I'm Vylad.", he said offering his hand for me to shake.

"Kim.", I said as I shook his hand.

"Hmm...", I put my hand up to my chin thinking then asked, "Are you by chance Zane and Garroth Ro'meave's brother?"

"Yeah. And I'm looking for my mother cause she said ran off.", he told me.

"You make it sound like you were babysitting her.", I joked, "But I think I know where she might be."

"Really?!"

"Yep! She's probably at Garroth, Zane and Laurance's house.", I told him.

"Oh great! Could you take me there?", he asked.

"Sure. Do you know why she ran off?", I asked while we began walking the short distance to the boys' house.

"I think so. She ran out the door shouting something about Garte.", he told me.

"Awesome! That means the spell or whatever is wearing off!", I smiled.

He nodded then we got to the door. I was about to knock it but then realised the door was knocked down. Instead I called, "Hello!? Can we Come in?!"

I heard a voice I didn't expect to hear and then someone get up. Garroth had come to answer the 'door'.

"Hey Kimmy!", he chirped.

"GARROTH!", I exclaimed and hugged him.

"I feel like I'm missing a lot.", Vylad said as he stepped inside.

"Well my friend get ready for a magical-"

"And tiring.", Zane cut Laurance off.

Laurance glared at him then began again in a dramatic voice, "Get ready for a magic and tiring", he mumbled, "tale!"

Vylad shrugged, "I have nothing better to do."

We both walked in and Vylad sat beside his mother- who was in the middle, and Laurance sat on the other. Zane sat in a single sofa and I sat in on to the one of the other double chairs beside Garroth.

Then we began to tell Vylad and Mrs. Ro'meave what happened the past months.
