Travis' POV

We snuck into the building avoiding being seen. As we crept around I looked around the place. It was very spacious in many of the hallways and dust coated the walls. Torches hung on the wall providing light and some chandeliers hung on the celling. Some hallways had tables with bowls on it, others had cabinets with things I couldn't make out because of the dust on the glass. Some hallways branched off into other rooms which weren't as well-lit as the hallways. Elizabeth's group finally came to a stop in a huge room and our group hid behind some tables in the room splitting up with Katelyn and I on one side and Derek on the other. The room was filled with cabinets and selves of potions, tables with potion beakers and books on it. In the middle of the room was a podium and a cauldron beside it. It looked like they had come here before as it wasn't a dusty as the other rooms.

"Okay..., let's see.", Elizabeth said placing a thick book on the podium. It was the same one from back at Starlight.

"I'm here!", a high-pitched voice echoed through the room.

We looked at the entrance to the room and there stood Lily walking in. We hid ourselves from her vision then went back into place.

"Where's Garroth?", Elizabeth asked.

"I sent him on a little errand. But you still haven't told me what you need still."

Elizabeth didn't answer her question but went back to flipping through the pages of the book, "We don't have much time. The authorities are probably going to be here in a few hours."

"Okay then...?", Lily said walking over to a cabinet looking at its contents.

I looked away from her back to Elizabeth. Lucinda was handing her different ingredients and occasionally helping her stir. Dust blew in my eyes as a light breeze came through the room. I closed my eyes and tried rubbing it out. I saw a staticky figure appear and I shot my eyes open. Only Katelyn was in front of me. I closed my eyes again and focused on going back to the place I saw my other.

"Hello!?", I called out into the void.

"Travis...", I heard a faint voice groan out.

A figure stepped out the shadows. It was HIM. Michael, the Demon Warlock. He was holding my other by the throat with his arm crease and my other was trying to pull out of his grasp.

"YOU.", I growled out.

"Hello again.", Michael smirked.

"What are you doing here!? Let him go!"

"Of course.", he said and squeezed my other until he disappeared into a puff of smoke.

"What did you do!?"

"Don't worry. We won't be seeing him for a while.", he laughed.

"Why are you here?!", I clutched my fist, "You're supposed to be dead."

"Do you know what the last thing they need is?", he asked smirking. Then I realised what it was. "They need a host for me. And since you the last descendant..."

"No! Not again! I won't let you hurt anyone again!", I shouted.

"You couldn't stop me before, what makes you think that you could now? The closer they get to finishing the potion the stronger I get. It's only a moment of time.", he smirked then began to turn into a puff of smoke which began surrounding me.

Then the smoke entered my body and I crouched down in the void trying to resist him.

Katelyn's POV:

"Almost done...", Elizabeth mumbled, "Only a few more left. He will soon be back."

"Umm..., doesn't the warlock need a host?", one of her henchmen asked.

"Yes. Which is exactly why I'm glad our little friends followed us.", she turned around smirking.

She knew we were here! I turned around to Travis who looked out of it, like he wasn't even here. His skin began turning into a shade of grey and his eyes flash a colour of purple. Oh no!

"Hello there.", I turned around and saw Elizabeth standing above me.

"Uhh, bye!", I said and grabbed Travis' hand and pushed her out the way running out with him.

Derek followed suit and ran out with us.

"We can't go to the exit; they'll find us too easily. Split up and try lose them.", Derek said and ran off in one of the halls.

I heard voices coming our way and ducked into one of the halls with Travis. We sat on the floor waiting for the coast to be clear again. Once they passed I turned my attention to Travis.

"Travis..., focus on my voice. Don't give in to him.", I said try to think of the right words to say.

He winced in pain as he clutched his head. I peeped my head out into the hall to see if anyone was there, then pulled it back in. I turned back to Travis; his skin was now dark grey.

"Travis, you can do this.", I whispered to him.

"K-Katelyn...", he opened his eyes again and they were now a dark purple.

"C'mon Travis. You can fight him.", he closed his eyes again, still clutching his head.

"That's not part of the plan dear.", I turned around and saw Elizabeth.

"I'm not your anything.", I spat out at her.

"So you don't want to spend time you're mommy?", she baby talked me trying to pull me away from Travis.

"My mother died a long time ago when she left me.", I pulled my hand from hers.

She looked hurt by that but brushed it off. "You and you're friend aren't going anywhere. I gave you a chance to come peacefully and you refused. Now step aside.", she said and tried to get pass me.

"No!", I said and pushed her to the ground, "You aren't going to lay a hand on him!", I exclaimed, "Travis C'mon.", I said grabbing his hand again and running to the potion room from before.

Lucinda was still there putting potions in the cauldron and mixing it. I left Travis to sit down on a chair and try focus on the Demon Warlock. I went over to Lucinda to try snap her out of it.

"Lucinda! Snap out of it!", I said trying to pull her way from the caldron and waved my hand in front of her face, "You know that we can't let the Demon Warlock come back.", I tried again to pull her away.

"Katelyn let me go!"

"No. I'm not going to let anyone get hurt again."

"Well too bad cause it looks like you're going to be the first one to get hurt.", she said and picked up a witches staff and fired at me.

"Gah!", I nearly missed it.

"Lucinda! I know you're I there! Fight the potion!", I shouted hiding behind and table as she kept firing.

"Your Lucinda can't come out to play right now Katelyn.", She said then fired at the table I was behind causing it to turn into ashes.

"I'm not going to give up on you! You didn't give up on me!"

"I don't want help! I'm fine!", she shouted back.

"No you're not! And until you're out of Elizabeth's control I'm not going to leave.", I said standing my ground.

"Well I guess you have your work cut out for you.", I heard Travis' voice.

I turned around a saw Travis standing up. His skin and eyes still the same from before, on his face a smirk was plastered. He was holding a dark purple broad sword in his hand and two back horns on the sides of his head.

"T-travis.", I stuttered backing away from the two of them.

"What's wrong Katelyn?", he asked in his usual playful voice still smirking walking towards me.

I have to think of something fast, I can't hold them both off. I back up on a cabinet and quickly looked through it.

"What can help me? What can help me?", I whispered to myself, "There! This!", I said and threw a white potion on the floor which caused smoke to fill the room. I took this chance to escape.

'Don't worry Travis and Lucinda. We're going to help you.'
