Chapter 82

Zane's POV:

It was now the next morning and Laurance and I were having breakfast. Garroth was probably still sleeping since he wasn't down yet. For breakfast we were having waffles and orange juice. As I stuck my fork into the waffle slice my thoughts drifted off to what happened yesterday and my time with Alina. I had many questions like, what did Alina mean when she said, 'this Zane Ro'meave'? Or what about Ghost's past life. She seemed to know Alina, and when we first met her Ghost said she loved a guy name Zane. So they got to be connected. Even Ghost said our worlds are connected. What does that even mean?

"Hey, are you just going to sit there and waste the waffles I perfectly made or hurry up and eat them?", Laurance called me out off my thoughts.

"Hmm? Oh, sorry. Besides, you didn't make them. You just took them out the package and into the toaster.", I said.

"Hey! When you have the resources you use them.", he said.

"Whatever. At least it's better than Garroth's.", I said rolling my eyes at him.

"Speaking of Garroth, I was thinking about yesterday. When do you think that your mom and Garroth will remember Garte?", he asked playing with the tips of the fork on the knife.

"I'm not sure. It'll Probably be awhile since Ghost said it will take some time to wear off.", I told him.

Just then our front door was broken down and in came a black hair woman with sea foam green eyes. She was freakishly familiar but what had actually shocked me was that she broke down our door!

"What!?", Laurance exclaimed.

"Mom?!", I exclaimed as well.

"Zuzu! I can't find Garte anywhere!", she shrieked.

Laurance stifled out a laugh, "Zuzu?"

"You heard nothing.", I glared at him.

I turned back to my mom surprised that she came bursting it just as I said that.

"He's at Lucinda's.", I told her.

"Oh! Well I'm going to have a few words with him! He had me scared to death!", she shouted.

"When did you even notice Garte was missing?", Laurance asked.

"This morning when I was having breakfast with Vylad.", she said.

Well now I don't really see why she was in such a fret. He could have just been out on a jog or something. But then again, if I saw that Nana or Aph was gone without a proper explanation I would be startled too.

"He perfectly fine. He's probably still asleep so-"

"You could probably stay here and tell me ALL about Zane! After all, we are roommates.", Laurance said cutting me off, with a sly look.

"What?!", I questioned.

"Of course! Now where should we start?", she said sitting down on the couch.

I sighed and mumbled, "I guess we're just going to disregard our broken door...", I sat down on the couch on the opposite side of the room from where my mother was sitting, while Laurance sat in the chair beside her.

Garroth's POV:

I woke up with a splitting headache and I sat up slowly. I placed my hand back down from my head to feel the soft carpet. Wait what? I looked towards my hand and realised..., I had a hand!

I held out my other hand then looked down to my lower body and saw that I had TWO legs! Yes! I got up about to do a little dance to myself but then sat back down slowly because I now felt dizzy. I finally have my legs and hands back and I can't even get up to use them. I pulled myself up using my bed and sat down in it. I then pinched myself to make sure this wasn't a dream.

"Ouch!", I whisper shouted. Yep! This was real! And I can talk again! In human talk that is.

I was no longer in my wolf form. I felt my hand touch something soft and when I looked behind me I saw I tail. I felt on top of my head and sure enough I had my wolf ears. I would have hidden them if I weren't so dizzy still. I guess that potion wore off. I held my hand to my head again when I had another headache.

Oh my Holy Irene! I just remembered Garte. Well, at least who he was. He's my dad but..., I can't remember all the details. I let out a sigh of relief and fell back on my bed when the headache stopped. Finally..., something is going right. The only thing that could make this day much better would be that it was completely drama free. The past months have been SO tiring. I then shot back up, and in consequence I became dizzy again.

I had just remembered that I never really given Zane his hug when we found out that he and Kawaii~chan were still alive because of obvious reasons. So now I could give him all the hugs I wanted! I bet he missed my hugs and me calling him baby brother!

I waited for the dizziness to wear off then I slowly got up, learning my lesson from the last times. Once I felt comfortable on both feet I walked towards the door and opened it. When I did I heard talking downstairs. I could hear Zane and Laurance's voices, but I recognised another. My mom's. I was about to rush downstairs to greet her for what felt like forever but then remembered to hide my ears and tail. Yeah it felt good to be petted but that was when I was in my wolf form and right now I'm not really up for people basically hitting me when I already have a headache that has almost died down.

After I did that I went downstairs to see my mother and the other guys.

"And then there was this time that I thought Zane and Aphmau were dating-", my said.

"Oh I remember that.", I said bringing attention to myself.

"GARROTH!", Laurance smiled.

"MOTHER OF IRENE!", Zane exclaimed at a loss of other words.

"I don't see what all the commotion is about.", my mother said confused as to what was happening.

"That's a LOOOOONNNG story.", Laurance said.

"And an exhausting one.", I said sitting down next to my mother since Laurance was on the right side of her.

If I ever heard the name Lily again it would be too soon.
