Chapter 36

Lucinda's POV

After I closed the door I went back to where Kim, Aph, Aaron, and Mr. And Mrs. Lycan were.

"Okay, so where were we?"

"I don't know. You haven't even asked the question.", Aph commented.

"Yeah and Lucinda, are you sure you're okay. The shouting-", Kim began but I cut her off.

"Yes Kim, but now we have more important things to discuss. Like, Garte."

"What about him?", Mr. Lycan asked.

Aphmau and Aaron facepalmed, I'm guessing because they forgot to tell them.

"He's missing.", I told him making him jump.

"Elizabeth...", he muttered.

"Who?"

"Elizabeth, Katelyn's mother.", Rachel told us.

"What!?", Kim, Aaron and Aphmau exclaimed.

"Shush! What about her?", I asked Mr. Lycan.

"It's either her or Zack.", he said.

"The guy from my Physical Therapy?", Aaron asked.

"Yes, and also Aphmau's dad."

"WHAT!", Aph shouted.

"Yes...", he then told us the story about the forever potions and how he met Zack, Elizbeth and Michael.

"So, one of them has the power to alter memories?", Kim asked.

"Yes, why?", Derek asked.

"Because Garroth, Zane and Zianna have absolutely no recollection of Garte.", Aaron told his father.

"It was most likely Elizabeth. And she most likely has him.", he told us.

"Why?", Aph asked.

"Revenge.", Mr. Lycan said simply.

"We'll call GF headquarters and tell them the new info. And that Blaze and you guys are alive.", Aph said.

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you about that...", Mrs. Lycan trailed off.

"Don't worry, We kinda expected something unexpected to happen so news about you guys death wasn't spread.", Melissa said coming from upstairs, "I'm glad to see you haven't kept Aaron in the dark dad."

Derek nodded, "Yes, and if the GF are to find any clues about there where abouts they have to start at Starlight. That was the last place where last I saw them."

"Great.", Aphmau said going into the next room along with Aaron to make the call.

I looked at my watch and concluded it was time for me to go. I was already ten minutes late.

"I got to go guys. Kim and Ghost, if you want you can stay.", they nodded and I left.

I quickly ran home to fix my hair which had become frizzy and change into a more comfortable pair of shoes leaving me with my black and white knee length dress and black flat shoes. I know not fancy but, this isn't a date so yeah. I was actually planning on wearing this anyway when Laurance confronted me. I put down my brush and looked at my phone to check for any texts. I had none. I actually hoped that Laurance was going to try contact me but, hey, you can't just have a fight and tell him to get lost and expect him to text back so soon. But yet, Ivan always did, maybe he has been changing since high school.

Oh my Irene! Ivan! I quickly called him.

"Hello?", I heard his voice through the speaker.

"Ivan!"

'Oh hey Lucinda. Umm-"

"I'm coming, sorry for being late. I had some..., problems."

"No problem. I'm actually a bit late myself. I'll see you in a few. Meet me at the bridge okay?"

"Sure. Cya there."

I guess he actually has changed. I walked through the door and looked across the street. I saw Garroth pushing Laurance out the house yelling at each other.

"Garroth!! I'm not a bear cub! You can't send me out into the world like that! This is my house too!", I heard Laurance shout but that was the only thing I heard because I decided to hurry along to the park.

I thought back to my phone call with Ivan and what Laurance was telling me. 'He's just jealous I want to go and talk to Ivan. If he were really sorry he would have called or texted.', I thought, and made my way to the bridge.
