Chapter 74

Aphmau's POV:

We went downstairs, our faces still slightly red.

"Hey guys!", Kim greeted when she saw us in the living room.

"H-hey Kim!", I said as my gaze went on Melissa who was still grinning from ear to ear.

We all had our ears and tails out and Melissa's tail was wagging quickly. I saw Aaron mouthed 'You saw nothing' to her. The doorbell rang and Melissa went to answer it.

"So, what's up?", Aaron asked them.

"We wanted to ask Aph how she helped you get your memory back.", Lucinda told us.

"Oh, okay-"

"Hi Mija!", I was cut off by a voice behind me.

I turned around to see my mother hugging me.

"Hey Mom! What's this for?", I asked.

"What? Can't a mother hug her daughter? Besides, I'm just glad you all are safe.", she told me.

"Where's Eric?"

"Oh, he went over to Katelyn's house.", she said then she greeted all the other people in the house.

Afterwards I told Lucinda and Kim about when Aaron got his memory back while he, himself ate breakfast at the table. And Lucinda also told us that she got her magic back. I was so happy for her!

"Man, am I glad everything that happened last year is over.", Kim sighed.

"Same. If I ever saw a green liquid again this year it would be too soon.", Melissa said.

"Hey, you know. Now that I think about it, Zack's not here.", Kim spoke up.

"Oh, yeah. He said that he was going to wait until it cools down here.", Aaron told us.

"Hmmm....", my mom said under her breath looking out the window.

"What's wrong mom?", I asked.

"I was just thinking.", she responded.

"About?", Derek asked still at the table eating the stack off pancakes.

"Zack."

I cocked my head at her statement. I thought she didn't like my Dad.

"Why?", Lucinda asked, clearly just as curious as I was.

Melissa handed Kim and Lucinda a glass of water then went back to her seat in the living room.

"I just find it funny that after all these years I never met his other child."

Lucinda began choking on the water she was drinking.

"Lucinda! Are you okay?!", Kim questioned patting her on the back.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine now.", she said not making eye contact with us.

Kim, Aaron, Melissa, and I did the 'are you sure face'.

"I feel like you're not telling us something.", I said folding my arms.

"Huh? W-why would you say that?", she questioned drinking another sip of her water.

"As soon as Sylvanna mentioned Zack's other child you suddenly began choking on water.", Aaron said.

"Can't someone choke on water?", Lucinda sassed.

"Yeah, but not you.", I said in the same sassy tone.

Lucinda looked down, "...It's nothing..."

"Do you know Zack's child?", Rachel questioned joining the conversation while getting up to put her dishes in the sink.

"...Y-yeah..., but actually, w-we all do...", she said with her head down still.

"Really? Who?", Aaron asked.

"I-it's....", she whispered the last part so no one can hear.

"Who?", I asked.

"I-it's..., E-. It's Ein."

Kim spat out her water, Aaron and Derek dropped their forks on the plate and Rachel, dropped the plate on the ground.

"WHAT!?", we all exclaimed.

"Y-yeah...", she lifted her head up.

Wait, wait, wait. Hold the heck up! Ein. The guy who had a yandere obsession for me? The guy who cheated his way to being alpha werewolf? The guy who put my friends and I under forever potions and force me to kill my boyfriend, almost TWICE?! The same guy who KILLED ME?! I'm related to THAT guy!? I actually wish that I were an only child again. I don't regret being lonely being the only child in my house anymore. I don't know what's more messed up. ME being that DISGUSTING MUTT'S sister or him having a romantic attraction to me.

I whined aloud to myself.

"When did you find out?", Kim asked breaking the silence that was in the room for quite a while.

"I-I found out when I was captured by Elizabeth, a few minutes before he left to get you guys.", she said coming her hands through some of the hair she held, "I-I was going to tell you guys, but...."

"You didn't know how to or if now was even the right time?", I spoke up.

She nodded. H-how was he my brother? He is basically the opposite of me! Well, at least, I hope so. I looked over to Aaron who also had a look of shock on his face.

"I-I think..., that, I'm going to head on back home.", Lucinda told us after some more silence.

"Ok, I'm gonna head on home too.", Kim said and the two walked out of the house after we bid them good-bye.

Rachel and Melissa cleaning up the shattered pieces of the plate and Derek and Aaron was putting their plates in the sink. I walked towards the house door which was still open and went to sit on the steps after putting away my ears and tail. I heard footsteps behind me and turned my head to see my mom.

She sat down beside me then asked, "Mija, are you okay?"

I shook my head 'no'. "I..., I think I'm going out for a walk. Just to clear my head."

I got up and started walking down the street pass Katelyn and Kawaii~chan's house.

"Mija...", I heard I mother say faintly.

Before I made it to the start of their fence I began to run down the street.

"Mija! Wait!", my mom called back again.

Ignored her and continued running. I don't know where but..., I just need some time to myself, to think.
