Laurance's POV:

I stood in front of the mirror in my room, looking at my reflection. Why was I so nervous!? I was just going to hang out with Lucinda! I was wearing my red and white shirt with dark blue jeans and black sneakers and my heart wouldn't stop racing.

"C'mon Laurance, just settle down. We're just going to hang out.", I told myself.

When since have I ever been nervous about hanging out with a friend? It's not it's a date or anything. I looked at my phone again. Lucinda had sent me the time two hours ago and it was almost time to pick her up. I breathed in and then back out, then finally I walked out the room. Garroth and Zane were watching a movie in the living room and they already knew I was going out so I didn't bother to distract them.

I walked out of the house through the finally fixed door and went to Lucinda's house. When I finally got there I hesitated to knock the door. WHY AM I SO NERVOUS!? Well, I guess last time there was a date and I was involved things..., didn't go so well. Wait, what? This is not a date!

I finally knocked on the door and waited for Lucinda to answer it. When she did she was wearing a black and white mini dress and black heels. I know I've seen her in this outfit tons of times but, she looked amazing!

"Hey Laurance.", she said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Hi Lucinda, you look awesome.", I said.

She blushed slightly then said, "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself. Let's go shall we?"

We began to walk to the theatre since it wasn't that far. As we passed KC and Katelyn's house I saw Kawaii~chan peering out the window like a child seeing snow for the first time. I looked away quickly and continued on my way.

When we got to the theatre we bought tickets to the movie 'G-Force', which was entirely of her choosing. We got popcorn and drinks then went to seat down and watch the movie. Just before the movie started I saw Ivan and two of his cronies walk in the room and take seat on the other side of the room at the back. I didn't tell Lucinda because I didn't want him to ruin her night, so I just turned around and watched the screen.

At the times something funny happened Lucinda would let out this cute laugh that was just loud enough for the people directly beside her to heard. Cute?

Then at times when they talked about love she would let out a small sigh the start eating her popcorn again. For a while it would be hard to tell if she like the movie. Then I realised I was watching her the entire time and not the movie.

When the movie ended she turned to me and said, "Well, that was nice."

"Yep.", I responded hoping she wouldn't notice I was staring at her.

She stood put and we went to put our garbage in the bin. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ivan and his friends following a little farther behind.

"So...", Lucinda began putting her hands behind her, "If you want we can get Ice cream? Completely on me of course."

"What, no. I'll pay for it. You already paid for the movie.", I objected.

"No, no. It's okay really."

"Nope! I'm paying for it and that's final.", I said giving her a playful smirk.

"Fine, I'll be right back. I need to go to the restroom really quick.", she said and began to walk off in the direction of the bathroom.

"Take your time.", I said smiling at her retreating figure.

I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and I turned around to see Ivan.
