Chapter 80: Potion Prank

Laurance's POV:

I just made it to Lucinda's shop and was greeted by her. She told me she got her magic back and I was extremely happy for her. And I also told her about what happened with Zane and Ghost this morning. But I guess she won't want as much help around her store then since she got her magic back. Before the store opened we went to the storage room to get a few things.

"Ok.", Lucinda said as she took down a small box of potions, "I'm going to open up now okay?"

"Okay. Coming.", I said taking down another small box.

She unlocked the door and flipped the Open/Closed sign. People started coming in and made orders. When someone asked for a potion that wasn't on display Lucinda would ask me to go check in the back.

It was close to lunch time and the shop was slowing down. Lucinda came back to the front of the store from the storage and the front door opened again. Kim had come in.

"Hey Kim. What brings you here?", Lucinda asked.

"I just thought I would check up on you guys," she said looking at me and smiling, then turned back to Lucinda, "And I also wanted to ask if you had a potion that could help me."

"Okay then. What potion?", Lucinda asked.

"I don't really know.", Kim said, "Maybe something that could get Garroth back his human form."

"Hmm..., I'll see if we can find anything. Laurance can you help me?", she asked.

"Sure.", I said and followed her into the back room.

After a few minutes she handed me a large box of potions and told me to put them on the counter and then come back to help her with some others. I did what she said and then went back.

Kim's POV:

Laurance put a box of potions on the counter and went back to the storage room to help Lucinda. The create was marked "Transformation". I looked through it and saw different potions. Somewhere for turning people into Meif'was, Werewolves, a few baby potions and of course a ton of cat potions. All were temporary of course. I heard the front door open and turned around to see a man with dark brown hair, red eyes, and pale skin. He was wearing a white shirt underneath a short sleeved black jacket with red symbols on it. He came up to the counter and leaned against it, I'm supposing he was waiting for Lucinda to come back. I went back to searching through the box and out of the corner of my eyes I saw him looking at what I was doing.

"Hi there.", he said.

"Hey.", I said, "how are you doing?"

"Could be better. What are you looking for?", he asked.

"Hmm? Just a potion to help a friend.", I replied and went back to searching.

He smiled, "Maybe I could help you?"

"Oh no. It's okay. I don't think she has the potion I'm looking for.", I said looking at him.

"If Lucy doesn't have what you're looking for I could probably make it for you.", he said.

Lucy? That sounds familiar. I brushed it off and said, "Maybe..."

"Great. I'm Ivan.", he said.

"O-oh, you're Ivan.", I said and looked back down at the box.

"So I see that Lucy has already told you about me."

"Yes, she did. She also told me she doesn't want you calling her that.", I told him.

He sighed, "And here I thought I found a gal who wouldn't simply believe everything she's told."

"I trust Lucinda. She isn't the only one who told me about you.", I said.
