Aphmau's POV:

Why would she want to bring back that monster! We need to find them! Travis and Katelyn came back in and Travis looked a lot better than before.

"So...", Daniel said. I guess it might have been awkward for the other two pups seeing has how they weren't as involved at Starlight.

"Guys, we need to go and help them.", Laurance spoke up and we all nodded.

My father looked at his watch and said, "I have to be getting back. Elizabeth will become suspicious if I'm not back soon.", he said about to walk out the door.

"Wait. Here.", Derek handed him device, "It will tell us where you guys are and let us listen in."

Zack nodded and head for the door, "Bye Sylvanna.", he said in a saddened tone, "Bye Aphmau.", his tone brightened.

"So, I guess all we do now is wait and plan.", Aaron said.

We all nodded.

"You pups should stay here.", I began and they nodded.

"I'll stay here also, to keep an eye on them.", Melissa told us.

"When Zack reaches the hideout we'll head there and the parents will call authorities as back up.", Aaron continued.

"Just be careful Mija.", my mother sighed.

"Don't worry she will. I promise.", Aaron wrapped his arm around my waist sideways, "And I'm guessing, Dad, you're coming too?"

Derek nodded. I guess he felt some responsibility for what's happening.

"Okay then. Time to sit down and wait.", I said sitting down in the middle of the couch and Aaron and the others followed.

Zack's POV:

I had finally reached back at the safe hold with the groceries I had gotten quickly.

"What took you so long?", Elizabeth asked leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed.

"Sorry, there was a lot of traffic.", I lied.

"Fine. Just come in. We need to get ready.", she turned around and walked inside leaving me to bring the things inside.

After I put the food bags down I walked into the room where Lucinda was. I opened the door and she wasn't there.

"Huh?", I said aloud.

Did she escape while I was gone. I walked to the room where Lily and Garroth was before and there I saw Lucinda tied up again on a chair. I noticed Elizabeth, Lily and Garroth there. Our theory must have worked since he wasn't fighting back to find help and his eyes weren't his normal blue but were now green. *Sigh* too late, I need to help Lucinda and Garte then before it's too late. I could see in his eyes only that he didn't want any of this happening.

"She didn't do anything, right?", I asked Elizabeth, motioning to Lily.

"No. I made sure it was clear to her that she could do whatever pleased her after we completed this task.", she said.

"Okay. So, why if Lucinda here?", I asked worried about her.

"Well, I said get ready didn't I? Zack, I have another task for you. Go get Garte. We have a few...helpers, there keeping watch on him. Tell our 'helpers' that I need to speak with them also please.", I nodded and went to where Garte was.

This was my chance to get him out. I entered the room and saw two werewolves. One with red hair, and was in a blue polo-shirt, and the other had blue hair and wore a crop top and khaki shorts. They must be under the effect of control potions; they must have been Aphmau's friends.

"Elizabeth needs to talk to you two.", I told them and they left.

"What now. Here to torture me or turn me against my own family.", Garte groaned and rolled his eyes. He was tied up to a chair so I went over to untie him.

"What are you-", put my finger up to my mouth telling him to be quiet.

"I'm helping you. So it's either you except it or leave it."

"Why?", he asked cautiously.

"Because..."

"It's okay. What matters is that you're doing the right thing." he said standing up after I untied the last knot.

"The exit is just down the hall on the left. No one should be guarding it since they should be in the room with Elizabeth.", I said walking away.

"Wait, where are you going?"

"I'm going to try help Lucinda if I can.", I said and left.

I got back to the room just as Elizabeth threw the potion of controlling on Lucinda causing her eyes to glow blue for a second and then the potion of regeneration.

"Oh hey Zack. Great that you could join us. Where's Garte?", she asked then gestured for Garroth to untie Lucinda.

I mentally face palmed. I forgot she asked me to do that.

"Well, well, well. Looks like we have a traitor in our mists. You always seem to have to wrong times to grow a conscience.", she huffed.

"Elizabeth, think about this. People can get hurt."

"And as I said before. People won't get hurt if we follow the plan. But someone had to change things around! Chose a side Zack, theirs or ours."

"When I pressed the button for the demon warlock to die I made a choice that I wanted to see my daughter happy. I messed up with Ein, and I'm not making this mistake again with Aphmau. Think about Katelyn.", I told her.

"Ugh, I told the witch already to never mention my daughter.", she fumed.

"You care about her, don't you? Just stop all of this. Let the kids go and this can all end."

"No. We-I worked too hard for this. You have ten seconds to make up your mind. And if you chose the wrong one, I suggest that you should run.", she said turned around walking towards her back to get Lucinda a witch's staff.

I began running. She most likely was going to send the werewolves after me so I ran at full speed. My ears and tails popped out as I caught up to Garte.

"Run!", I shouted out and he began running even faster.

I grabbed his hand as I ran past and made our way to a cave in which we could hide.

"What do we do know?", Garte whispered.

"We wait for help.", I whispered back.

Little did they know that I planted the tracking device in one of the grocery bags.
