Chapter 76: Lost Memories?

Zane's POV:

A few hours after Lucinda and Kim left Laurance finally got out of bed. When Nana and I told him Kim and Lucinda was hear he looked upset that he missed them. After a few more hours it was almost sunset. Laurance was upstairs and Garroth went to his room after he ate something. It was just me and Nana in the living room and we were having some cupcakes she baked earlier today.

"It was nice spending time with you today.", Nana said, "I got to go now though."

"No problem.", I said getting off the couch and walking her to the door.

"Cya Zane.", she said and began walking to her house.

"Cya Nana.", I called back.

I closed the door and looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost time for dinner. Laurance was probably going to make that so I decided to go upstairs to my room. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep. I opened my eyes again and found myself in a white void.

"Huh? Where am I?", I questioned aloud.

"Hello Zane Ro'meave.", a female voice said.

I turned around and saw a woman in a purple and white dress with a purple hood. She had hazel eyes and long black hair. She actually looked a lot like Aph.

"A-Aph?", I stuttered.

She shook her head, "I'm not you're friend. I'm Irene."

"...Okay then. Why am I here?", I asked.

"Follow me.", she said, turned and began to walk.

"Wait what?", I walked after her not knowing what was happening still.

I looked around the place and all I could see was white. White, white, white everywhere! We finally got to a building with a huge door and a person in a dark hood stood there guarding it.

"This is where my journey with you ends. I have a friend who's going to come soon.", she said and began to walk through the door. The man there nodded to her and moved out the way.

"What?", I whispered.

"Hello.", a voice said behind me.

"Gah!", I exclaimed then turned around to see who it was. It was...

"Alina?", I questioned.

"Yep!", she smiled, "I need you to follow me.", she said and began to walk off.

"What is even going on?!"

I ran after her and we finally stopped at a purple and blue portal which had white particles coming from it.

"What is this?", I asked turning to Alina.

"It's a portal.", she said still facing the structure.

"I know that but, what does it do?", I asked again.

"You're going to walk in and wait and watch.", she said still not answering my question.

"So I should wait and watch for something going to kill me when I step in there.", I said sarcastically, "I don't even know what's happening still."

I walked closer to the portal and looked at it then back at Alina.

"I'm going to show you something, you can either chose to believe it or not to.", she said.

"O-okay.", I said.

She took my hand and began to walk into the portal; I followed. As we passed through a bright light surrounded us. I closed my eyes and waited for it to stop. Alin then tapped my shoulder and told me to open my eyes. When I did I found myself in a room with Alina and three other people. I saw a man that looked like Garte sitting in a chair reading a new paper and two little boys playing with some toy cars on the floor.
