Kawaii~chan POV:

I opened my eyes and found myself in a strange place. It lacked all colour except for white, black and some blueish purple. I decided to get up and look around my surroundings some more then I realised that I was a top something. Or someone. It was Zane and he was still knocked out cold. Then very thing came back. Garroth, Lily, the cliff. How long had I been out for?

I quickly got off, sitting beside him, and looked down at my clothing and it was a mess. Dust was all over my shirt and the knees of my pants were also dusty. My shoes' sides where covered in dried mud. I would hate to know how my hair looks. I looked around again. Nothing much. It was almost empty, like a void. There were a few buildings. Not big but moderate. I breathed in after realising that I wasn't for a while and the sensation that hit me was a bit overwhelming. The air smelt sweet but at the same time...sour? After a minute of slow breathing I got used to it. But where are we? Aren't we supposed to be dead?

I saw Zane get up from the corner of my eye and pounced on him hugging him.

"Gah! Nana!", he said holding his head.

"Oops. Sorry I forgot. Oh and take slow breaths. It helps with-"

"Gah! what's that smell?", he said covering his nose.

"As I said, breathe in slowly. And besides, how do you smell under that mask of yours.", I teased.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny. But..., where are we?", he said standing up and looking around. I shrugged.

He looked down at his clothing and it was just as mess as mine. There was dried mud on the shoes and some on the laces, dirt on his jeans and there were some grass stains on some parts of his clothing, well at least we could see it on the parts that were light coloured. He turned his head back up and looked over at one of the buildings. I followed his stare and what I saw wasn't like the other small houses. It was a huge castle like building.

"I guess there is good as any for answers.", he spoke breaking the silence. I nodded and he helped me up.

"Oww...", I moaned as I laid my left foot on the ground.

"Nana are you okay?", he asked.

"Yeah..., my foot just hurts."

He helped me back down and stooped down to examine my foot.

"It's twisted.", he same simply, "I'll carry you if you want."

"No. No. It's okay.", I said trying to get up again up failed wincing in pain.

"Well now I'm going to. You need to rest your foot.", he said and then began to pick me up bridal style.

"...Thanks.", I said as he began to walk towards the structure.

I don't understand. If we are dead then..., I'm the reason why he's even here. He didn't have to try save me. I hung my head down as I thought but Zane's voice brought me out of it.

"I chose to you know.", he said still keeping his eyes focus on where he was walking so he doesn't drop me.

"Chose what?"

"To save you."

"You didn't have to."

"But I wanted to. If I saw you die and saw a chance to save you and didn't take it, I would never be able to live with the guilt."

"...", I looked down and then back at him and he looked down at me. He shifted some of my weight and continued walking. "Thank you.", I spoke up.

"Not a problem.", he said looking down at me again.
