Eric's POV:

They called all of us back in to talk about something. From what I'm understanding Garroth, Lucinda and Garte are missing. I've just not been told how yet. And that man was Sylvanna's FIRST boyfriend. Hmph! Well, I'm just going to have to make sure he keeps his hands to himself.

"So...What do you have to say to us Zack.", Sylvanna said with annoyance clear in her voice.

"Well, you could be nicer for a change.", he mumbled.

"What did you say?", I questioned even though I heard perfectly well.

"*Ahem* That Elizabeth has your friends and Garte in a building hidden in the woods a few miles from here.", Zack said.

"Is that all? Why does she want them so badly?", my sugar pea asked. Then I noticed her holding that boy, Travis' hand.

"*Ahem*", I motioned to her and she quickly let go.

"...She wants to bring back the demon warlock.", Zack told us and everyone's faces became pale, "And, in order to do so, many of the procedures need two magic users or more to do it."

"But Lucinda doesn't have magic anymore.", Laurance said. I don't know how he knows about all of this but I guess my sugar pea and friends told him.

"Regeneration potion.", Zack simply stated.

Everyone sighed still looking pale. Travis looked the palest out of all of them. I saw Katelyn look up at him and excused herself along with Travis to go outside. Before she left she gave me a reassuring smile, as if saying that everything is going to be okay and not to worry. Then she left with Travis following, their heads both hung down.

Travis' POV:

"I can't believe she wants to bring him back...", I mumbled as we walked outside.

The cold air outside hit me so suddenly that it got me out of my thinking temporarily. I looked around, even in the night the beauty of spring was still there, with fireflies, the moonlight and flowers on trees and the ground. But it didn't seem to cheer me up in anyway. The way I felt couldn't be cured just by looking at the great scenery. I looked beside me to see an even greater one, Katelyn. But that just made me scared. The thought losing her frightened me.

"Travis...everything...okay?", she asked looking up at me.

I hung my head down, going back into thought. She grabbed my hand and pulled it towards her. She then lifted my head up and I was looking into her beautiful turquoise eyes.

"Travis, everything's going to be okay.", she rested a hand on my shoulder.

I didn't say anything I just looked down. What if the demon warlock comes back, and everything that happened at starlight happens again. I DON'T want to be his host ever again!

"Travis, speak to me. You know I'm here for you.", she said in a reassuring voice.

I didn't say anything. I then heard the voice of my other in my head again, "Hey, say something. She wants to help you."

"Why don't you say something then?", I asked in my head.

"Because this is different than impressing a girl or getting past guards. This is something only YOU can talk about with her. This is what your feeling not me."

"But-"

"When I said that I can't feel the pain or things you feel, I was talking about physically and mentally. Yes, I can sympathize with you but I'm not feeling the same things."

"..."

"Just say something, no matter how weak it makes you sound. It tells people that you care about them and others around you."

"Travis...", I heard Katelyn's voice again.

The voice was silent again. I looked up and decided to say something like 'he' said.

"Katelyn..., I'm..., scared.", I said. Not exactly what I wanted to say but, that happened. I felt tears fill up in my eyes, none falling.

"I'm scared too..., everyone is.", she looked up and gave me a I slight smile, "But what matters is what we do with it. Our friends need us and we can either do nothing and cower in fear or help them and step up in bravery."

Katelyn's POV:

"I'm scared too..., everyone is.", I smiled at him. I hated to admit it but, I actually was.

"But what matters is what we do with it. Our friends need us and we can either do nothing and cower in fear or help them and step up in bravery.", I continued.

I looked at Travis again and he seemed to relax a bit more. I had taken him out here because his skin was pale and becoming grey and his eyes purple again. They were now going back to normal.

"Travis, no matter what happens I'm always going to be here."

"He-he..., isn't that what I'm supposed to say to you?", he joked around.

"Just accept it.", I teased back.

I brought him in for a hug and we stayed like that for what felt like minutes.

"Thanks Katelyn, I needed that.", Travis smiled, scratching the back of his head.

"No problem, it just shows how much of a good girlfriend I am.", I teased.

Travis rolled hie eyes, "Seriously."

"Pff, lets head back inside.", I said taking his hand and walking inside ahead of him.
