Chapter 52

Aaron's POV

For the entire trip Aph was sleeping. The trip wasn't too long, just about thirty minutes. When we reached our destination we parked a bit away from it. I shook Aph awake and she shot up quickly.

"Relax...Where here.", I told her calmly.

"Oh, thanks."

We reviewed the plan before we came out. The plan was to try stall Elizabeth as long as possible until the GF or whatever comes, and if we aren't too late, save Garroth, Lucinda and Garte.

We came out the car and the rain was still pouring down. We'll just have to be even more careful. Aph, my dad and I put on our ears so that we could hear better. I hadn't seen Aph's tail since I got back to Lover's Lane and it looked just as beautiful the last time I saw it. It wasn't curled up anymore but was long and bushy. And the purple dye I put on still hadn't faded.

After a few minutes of walking we finally made it to the house. We didn't hear anything and the door was unlocked. But just to be careful we all snuck in quietly. I walked around and realised no one was hear.

"Were we too late?", Kawaii~chan asked, worry laced in her voice. Her tail and ears drooped down when we didn't find anything.

"Maybe not. Maybe we can find them.", I told her and she nodded.

"So... are we going to split up?", Katelyn asked.

"Might as well. We'll go in two groups. Just be careful", my dad said.

Aph, Zane, Kawaii~chan and me went together while the other group was my dad, Katelyn, Travis, Kim, and Laurance. We searched the forest and heard talking.

"H-", I covered Aph's mouth shushing her.

"We don't know if there friend or foe yet.", I whispered and she nodded.

We came upon a cave soon later and Zane and I decided to check it out first. I saw movement at the corner of my eye so I turned on my flashlight only to find Garte and Zack.

"Oh, thank Irene. It's just you guys.", I breathed out.

"We were wondering when you would get here.", Zack said in a tone that was mixed with playfulness and seriousness.

"We need to try and stop Elizabeth.", Garte spoke up. His eyes then looked over to Zane. He was going to say something but closed his mouth. I'm guess because he just remembered Zane doesn't know who he is.

"Okay, but where is she?", Zane asked while I told Aph and Kawaii~chan I was safe to come inside.

"You mean they. She's got Lily with her and Garroth, Lucinda and two of your friends under her control.", Zack told us.

"Did one have red hair and two different colour eyes and another blue hair and eyes by chance?", Aph asked and both fathers nodded.

"We need to find Elizabeth and stop her.", I spoke again, "Do you know where they could be?"

"Yes. Follow me.", Zack said and we followed him out the cave.

As we started walking again we heard voices. It sounded like Dottie and Blaze. We drew closer and hid behind a bush watching them search the area.

"C'mon. We need to find them.", Blaze said.

"Don't you think that what I'm trying to do.", Dottie. Her voice had more sass then it usually had.

"Zack, what potion's where used on them?", I asked whilst whispering.

"Control potions and for Garroth...the love potion and forever potion.", he responded.

"Any way to reverse the control potions?", Kawaii~chan asked?

Zack looked down for a while thinking then lifted his head back up, "Yes. But it's all the way back at the building."

"*sigh * Okay then. Na-Kawaii~chan and I will go back and get it. What was it?", Zane asked.

"It's a purple potion in the cupboard-", Zack stopped suddenly when Blaze peeked over.

"Found ya.", Blaze smirked and tried to grab us.

"Go now!", Zack shouted as we scrambled away.

Zane and Kawaii~chan ran off and we were left with the mind-controlled Dottie and Blaze. Blaze pulled something out of his pocket with looked like a knife and Dottie pulled out a blue potion.

"Umm..., H-hey guys.", Aph stuttered stalling for time, "If you don't mind where going to run now."

"Oh no. We definitely mind.", Blaze said holding up the knife and running for us.

I blocked his attack on Aphmau with a branch I found on the ground, knocking the knife out of his hands.

"I would very much like it if no one died please.", I said.

"What? Just returning the favour.", Blaze smirked evilly.

"Well, that's we have two options now, don't we.", Dottie said holding up the potion and throwing it at our group.

It missed us but that wasn't the end of her potion throwing. She took of her backpack and continued throwing it at us. During this time Blaze had recovered and grabbed his knife again swinging it at me. It was already difficult dodging the potions, but even more so when I'm dodging and blocking Blaze's attacks at the same time.
