Gauri rushed to his room. Om slowly opened his eyes and saw Gauri in front of him. He instantly smiled looking at Gauri, whose eyes were filled with tears.
O: So, Dr. Gauri, what is your diagnosis?
G: Mr. Oberoi, you fainted twice in your office today. This happened due to low blood pressure and excessive stress. You should have not taken so much stress, please rest now. Your brother has been informed about your condition. You will be discharged very soon.
Gauri said to Om in a straight tone trying like hell to not show that she could burst any moment now, with her hands in pockets of her lab coat. Although her eyes clearly showed how much she cared, her tone showed how much she was angry on him.
Om noticed this anger in her voice, and quickly held her hand as she was about to leave.
O: Gauri, I am sorry. I should have told you about me being an Oberoi. I know you are angry at me.
Om said holding Gauri's hand.
G: Mr. Oberoi, please, this is a hospital. Leave my hand.
Gauri tried freeing her hand, but Om tightened his grip.
G: Fine! If you really think I am angry at you for not telling me that you are an Oberoi, then you are highly mistaken. I am sure you had your reasons, but not telling me that you were a patient with blood pressure, that is what made me mad.
Om was shocked and amused after hearing her.
O: What! Gauri, you are not angry at me for hiding such a big truth, but angry at me for not telling you I had blood pressure?! What planet are you from?
Om asked chuckling a bit.
Gauri was still mad at him, she knew that she had told Om a shitty reason for being angry, but she didn't know the reason.
"Why am I so furious at him? He didn't even do anything." She thought to herself. She quickly freed her hand and left the room.
Later in the evening, Gauri drove Om back to their apartment. The drive was a very silent one. Om kept on looking at Gauri, like a 3 year old kid whose mother is upset at him for doing some mischief in school.
O: Gauri at least talk to me. Please this whole silent therapy is killing me.
Gauri kept driving; she did not even look at him. They reached home and she opened the door for him and left to go to her apartment. Om quickly put an arm in front of her.
"What!?" Gauri asked irritated.
"Seriously, I can also get mad at you ok. Please talk. If you don't I will not let you leave." Om said tired of Gauri's behavior.
"You will not let me leave? I am not mad at you. I have told you this at least 15 times now. Happy now?" Gauri said not looking at Om.
"Happy? No! Look at yourself. Your tone clearly tells how angry you are at me. I am sorry for not telling you about my family name, ok. I promise I was going to tell you." Om said with desperation in his voice to get old Gauri back.
"Oh for god's sake. I am not angry at you for being an Oberoi. I don't care right now, if you are an Oberoi or a Gates. Sooner or later I was going to find out. I am just, the fact that you were lying unconscious in front of me this whole afternoon. That picture just wouldn't budge from my head. The fact that something happened to you just got the hell out of me!" Gauri yelled, with tears in her eyes.
Om didn't know how to respond, so he just hugged her tight. As soon as Om wrapped his arms around Gauri, she started crying continuously. Om caressed her hair and tried to calm her down. He then cupped her face and saw right into her eyes.
