Next morning:
Gauri went to Om's apartment on their usual time. Om was more than overjoyed to see Gauri there for god knows what reason.
He wished her good morning and went in his kitchen and started preparing breakfast.
"Om, I won't be here for breakfast and dinner today." Gauri said in a low voice.
"Why? Early shift?" Om asked, engrossed in cooking.
"I am having breakfast and dinner with Andrew today." Gauri said looking anywhere but at Om. Anybody could make out from her voice, that she was guilty.
"OK." was the only answer that Om could utter.
"Where are you going? I will drop you." Om said in a bit of an annoyed tone.
In the next few days Gauri spent a lot of time with Andrew. She had hardly met Om. So she decided to go visit him and talk to him.
She knocked his door but got no response. She finally decided to open the door with her keys. To her surprise, the apartment was empty. Om was not at home.
"He is home by this time. Where are you Om?" She said to herself standing in the empty apartment.
She tried calling Om but his phone was switched off. She then called his office and asked about Om.
"Ma'am, Omkara sir said he would work from home today." Was the response she got.
After trying all this she finally called Anika.
A: "Gauri, it's been so long since we have talked! How are you?"
G: "I am fine di! Is Om there?" Gauri asked least interested in anything else.
A: "Yes, don't you want to talk with me?" Anika teased.
G: "I would love to talk to you but it's urgent! Please give him the phone."
Anika understood the tension in Gauri's voice and went towards Om's room.
O: "Hello?"
Om answered not knowing Gauri was on the line.
G: " Seriously, Hello? Have you gone nuts! Idiot! Why didn't you tell me you are not at home?"
Om finally recognized her voice and answered an anxious Gauri.
O: "I am home."
G: "Om! Not 'Oberoi mansion' home, 'apartment' home. When did you leave and when are you coming back?"
O: "I don't know. How is everything back there?"
G: "It is not okay!"
O: "Why? Did Andrew leave?"
G: "What?"
O: "I am asking if Andrew has left, now that you have remembered me after so many days." He said calmly.
Gauri could make out that he was hurt and sad.
G: "Om, when I said that it was not okay here; I meant that it was not okay because you aren't here." Gauri said in a loving tone.
Om's face lit up, so he decided to tease her.
O: "Oh, so you miss me?"
G: "Of course I do."
This took Om by surprise. He had expected her to reply him with something sarcastic.
O: "Gauri, chill. I am coming home in a few days. I had some official work here."
While Anika was hearing this conversation, she smirked at this reply.
Om and Gauri cut the call and Om turned to give Anika her phone back.
"I thought you said you were not returning anytime soon." Anika said with a teasing expression.
"I... my friend needs me...so I have to go right?" Om said stammering and left from there smiling.
After two days Om returned back; Gauri was all smiles to see him back. They caught up and had dinner like they always used to have.
One evening Om was walking home when he saw Andrew and Gauri in a shop. The shop was huge and had beautiful gowns in it. Gauri and Andrew were smiling and laughing.
"Looks like someone is having fun!" Om thought to himself.
He got irritated and was about to leave when he noticed Andrew was about to kiss Gauri. Yash quickly leaned in, held Gauri by her waist tightly and kissed her deeply.
