Om showed her the app he was talking about.
"Oh, that! It is a dating app." Gauri said casually.
"I know that!" Om said in a bit of a loud voice.
"Then why are you asking me Mr Smart Singh Oberoi?" Gauri said as she ate her breakfast.
"I am asking you why do you need it" Om said as he sat across her with his plate; now in a normal tone.
"What do you mean, 'why do I need it?' I am a girl in her 20's; I am hot, if I may say, and obviously I don't need a dating app to find groceries; so yeah, I have a dating app to date guys!" Gauri said in such a casual tone that Om was stunned for a minute.
Almost 2 weeks ago they had kissed, not that Om was assuming they were dating but he was sure that Gauri had feelings for him. Little did poor Om know that Gauri was joking.
"Oh, I get it. If you wanna date guys, then I will find them for you!" Om declared in a happy tone.
Gauri almost choked on her food and looked at Om.
"What! Why?" Gauri asked as she was not interested in dating currently.
"You see I am your best friend, so it is my honour to find you freaking amazing guys to date." He quickly took out his phone, downloaded the dating app, and filled Gauri's details in it.
"Now I will find you your perfect boyfriend." Om said as he stuffed a big bite in his mouth.
Gauri too was no less stubborn. She took her phone from Om's hand and filled his details instead of hers.
"Oh! Is this how it's going to be? Fine! If you are finding me the perfect match, then how can I leave this golden opportunity to help you! My dear best friend, I too will find you a girl now." Gauri said grumpily.
Gauri and Om were at loggerheads for the whole day.
Gauri kept talking about how Om had irritated her this morning to Sam and Jackson; while Om did the same with Shivaay and Rudra.
Finally after returning home, when they had been calmed down, they met each other like any other day. None of them uttered a word about the morning incident.
One Saturday afternoon, Gauri was resting as after many days she had got a holiday.
Gauri's pov:
"What a day! No one screaming my name in the hospital, no beeping sound of pagers, no blood, not a single sick-ass to treat for the whole day!
I am having the best afternoon I have had in months!
The love of my life: pizza is here; my favourite movie is on, what else do I need?
There is nothing that could ruin my mood today."
As I said this, I heard my doorbell ring at-least 5 times.
"I swear to god, who is in a mood to ruin my wonderful afternoon!"

An annoyed Gauri opened the door to see Om standing in front of her.
"Om! Hi!" Gauri said
"Hi!? Get ready now!" Om said as he pushed Gauri inside her bedroom.
"Ready for what? " Gauri asked, confused.
"If you had picked up my calls, you would have known. You have a date!" Om said pushing a reluctant Gauri in her bedroom.
"I have a what now!?" Gauri asked, surprised.
"A date! Remember we decided to find each other perfect matches! I think I found someone who is not perfect but he can be taken on a date at-least once." Om said casually.
