The next day, I woke up feeling tired and I still can feel the heaviness in my heart. But what caught my eye is Kian lying beside me. He is sleeping peacefully beside me. He's facing me. 

My lips parted in disbelief. Memories flashed in my mind yesterday wherein he stayed with me here in my room that whole night. Hindi ko akalain na gagawin niya iyon para sa akin. I admit, that comforted me a lot.

I can't help myself but to stare at his beautiful and peaceful face. How I wish this would last. I hope I won't get hurt again.

 I appreciate Kian's comfort and presence the whole time. It's like something's holding my dear heart. I feel like for the first time... I am cared and... loved. My face heated! Dream on, Yna! He's just being friendly to you! After all, you are his responsibility kasi nasa iisang bahay kayo.

Pero p'wede bang kahit ngayon lang maniwala ako na gusto nga niya ako? P'wede bang kahit ngayon lang umasa ako? Can this little girl's dream will last long?

I let a deep breathe first before entering Kian's car. We were going to the Savour's for our family dinner. Medyo matagal na rin kasi nang hindi namin nakakasama ang mga magulang namin. 

I was hesitant at first to go because I know Daddy will be there but Kian assured me that he will just stay with me the whole time... and so he did. I couldn't look at Daddy because once I look at him I will just get hurt and worst, I will just go berserk.

"Kailan ang end ng semester niyo?" Mommy asked.

Kian is the one who answered my mother, "Next week pa po."

"Alright. After your semester, please, stay in our house even just only for a week. I miss my Yna." Mommy pouted and she sounded like she really missed me. I looked at Mommy sadly. Well, I really miss her too.

Kian looked at me and then he smiled.

"Of course Tita. Pupunta kami panigurado ni Yna. We will be staying there just like what you requested."

"Thank you, hijo."

"I feel like I don't want to go home and see him." pagsasabi ko ng totoo kay Kian habang nasa saakyan kami pauwi sa condo. Itinuon ko ang tingin sa labas ng kotse.

"But your Mommy misses you."

I know that...

"Yeah. I will just go with the flow and act like I see nothing." 

"You're really a brave woman. I am proud of you." he said. My eyes widened and then I looked at him. Hindi ko inaasahan na sasabihin niya ito sa akin.
