When we get to the psychiatric hospital, we flash them our badges, say that we need to speak with Mr. Jaffey, and they immediately call him down. I want to smile at how having a badge makes things so much easier, but I manage to keep my stern expression.

"I don't understand. I already spoke with homeland security." Max starts. Guess I spoke to soon.

"Right. Some new information has come up." Dean makes up quickly.

"So if you could answer a few more questions, that would be great." I tell him as I walk by his side.

"Just before the plane went down, did you notice anything unusual?" Sam questions him.

"Like what?" Max asks.

"Strange lights, weird noises, maybe...voices." Dean lists off to him.

"No, nothing." Max replies, avoiding eye contact with us. I meet Dean's eyes and we give each other the same knowing look.

"Mr. Jaffey, can I ask why you decided to admit yourself into this hospital?" I ask, the four us sitting down at a round table, me sitting across from Max.

"I was a little stressed. I survived a plane crash." Max says, like it obvious, but I didn't buy it.

"Uh-huh. And that's what terrified you? That's what you were afraid of?" Dean presses, Max looks over at him and he hesitates slightly.

"I-I don't want to talk about this anymore." Max shakes his head as he stumbles over his words.

"See, cause I think maybe you did see something up there. We need to know what." Dean continues to push.

"No, no. I was delusional...seeing things." Max denies.

"Oh, he was seeing things." Dean gives me a look. I tilt my head slightly with pursed lips.

"It's okay. Then just tell us what you thought you saw. Please." Sam tells Max gently. He's quiet for a moment, not making eye contact with any one of us.

"There was...this...man. And, uh, he had these eyes...these, uh...black eyes." I watch him gesture towards his eyes and furrow my brows as he continues. "And I saw him...or I thought I saw him..." he doesn't continue.

"You saw him what?" I question him.

"He opened the emergency exit." He looks at me and I raise my brows in surprise. "But that's impossible, right? I mean, I looked it up. There's something like two tons of pressure on that door." I tilt my head, thinking about it.

"This man...did he seem to appear and disappear rapidly? I-it would look something like a mirage." Sam asks him, and Max gives him a perplexed look.

"What are you, nuts? He was a passenger. He was sitting right in front of me." I purse my lips and look at Sam.

"Right of course. And you're saying he managed to open up an emergency exit on a plane?" I question Max, looking back at him.

"I said I thought." He clarifies.

"Right." I say with a tight lipped smile, getting up. Sam and Dean follow. "I think we got all the answers we were looking for, thank you." I give a curt nod before the three of us walk away, leaving the hospital.

I work on finding out who was sitting in front of Max on that plane once we get to the Impala, using the list of passenger manifests and Sam's laptop to fish out a name and where the passenger lives. It's easy enough to figure it out and we waste no time heading to the man's home.
