"We should've made an appointment beforehand." I sigh, sinking deeper into my chair. I watch Dean's knee bounce up and down in what I can only assume is in nervousness or in frustration for the long wait. Gently, I rest a hand on his knee and meet his eye.

"Calm down." I whisper. Not a second later I hear a light and cheerful voice coming into the room.

"Alright, then. Don't you worry 'bout a thing. Your wife is crazy about ya." The woman reassures her client as she walks him to the door. He gives a small thanks before leaving. As soon as the door closes she turns to us.

"Poor bastard. His woman is cold-bangin' the gardener."

"Why didn't you tell him?" Dean asks as she walks back to the room she came from. Stopping, she turns again.

"People don't come here for the truth. They come for good news." She says simply.

"Then people will say you aren't a real psychic." I point out.

"Hasn't put me out of business yet." She smiles slyly. I raise a brow at her audacity.

I liked her.

"Well? Sam, Dean, and Jennifer, come on already. I ain't got all day." She rushes, continuing her walk into the other room. Both the boys look at each, then at me. I chuckle, getting up to follow after her. Once we all enter the next room, she faces us and smiles.

"Well, let me look at ya." She laughs. Her positive attitude was so calming and welcoming that it had me smiling as well. "Oh, you boys grew up handsome." She laughs some more. "And you were one goofy lookin' kid too." She points at Dean. I raise a hand to my mouth to stop from laughing as I look at his surprised face. "And Jennifer." I look at her quickly, worried what she is going to say about me. "You've grown into such a beautiful young woman." She gushes. I blush and tuck a piece of hair behind my ear. I don't usually get compliments. Only from Dean and Sam.

"Thank you. But, uh, we've met before?" I ask in embarrassment. I felt bad that I did not remember her. She shakes her head, her smile never leaving.

"No, not officially. Their father has shown me pictures and has talked very much about you. He would talk about you like he would his own children." She explains.

"Oh." I whisper, pondering on it. Did John really think of me as a daughter? I smile at the thought.

"Sam." Missouri grabs a hold of his hand and immediately frowns, taking a deep breath.

"Oh, honey. I'm sorry about your girlfriend. And your father...he's missin'?" She asks. My eyes widen in surprise.

She got all that...from touching his hand?

"How'd you know all that?" Sam asks.

"Well, you were just thinkin' it, just now." She points.

"Well, where is he? Is he okay?" Dean asks.

"I don't know." She admits, brows furrowed.

"Don't know? Wh—you're supposed to be a psychic, right?" Dean asks. I wince at his mistake. Missouri looks at him with narrowed eyes and an open mouth, clearly offended by his statement.

"Boy, you see me sawing some bony tramp in half? You think I'm a magician?" She asks him, cheerful nature gone. The urge to laugh comes back again and I want to just make fun of Dean so badly. "I may be able to read thoughts and sense energies in a room, but I can't just pull facts out of thin air. Sit! Please." She gestures over to the sofa as she makes her way over to the chair that is opposite of it.
