"Flight attendants, please cross check, and flight crew, prepare for departure." I hear the pilot say over the coms as I look out the window with a smile.

Even though I know this plane is supposed to crash, I can't help but feel excited to be on a plane. I've never been on one before, and despite the situation we're in, I can't help but appreciate that I'm finally getting to experience it.

Feeling Sam elbow me, I turn my head towards him and he tilts his head towards Dean. My smile turns into a smirk as I look past Sam and see Dean worriedly looking over the safety and emergency manual.

"Just try to relax." Sam tells him while trying to hold back a smile of his own.

"Just try to shut up." Dean says immediately afterwards.

"It's not so easy to face your fear, now is it?" I taunt.

This is karma for trying to push me into that lake back in Colorado. I wanted to say but I bit my tongue.

He doesn't answer because the plane starts to move at a fast pace, about to fly up into the sky. His whole body tenses up and he grips the armrests tightly.

I roll my eyes and look back out the window, feeling the plane tilt as we start up into the air. The farther we go up, the smaller everything becomes, and I want to gasp in awe at all the lights. I couldn't help but imagine that this is what it must feel like to be a bird.

I felt like a kid again, fascinated by something as small as flying in a plane. The only thing I couldn't really handle was the popping in my ears as we flew higher up, it was really awful.

For a moment, I think of my family, and how I wish I could share this experience with them. I wish, instead of worrying about pinning down this demon, I was headed to Hawaii with my family. I would have my two twin brothers sitting next to me arguing over something stupid and pointless. They always used to argue.

"You humming Metallica?" Sam asks.

"Calms me down."

I turn my gaze onto the two of them and my brows quirk up when I realize Dean is, in fact, humming Metallic.

"Look, man, I get you're nervous, alright? But you gotta stay focused." Sam tells him.

"Okay." Dean forces out, but he still looks tense.

"I'm sorry to add to your anxiety, but we only have..." I pause and look down at my cell. "About 32 minutes, to find a freakin' demon, who could be possessing anyone, by the way, and exorcise the sucker."

"Yeah, on a crowded plane, that's gonna be easy." Dean says sarcastically.

"Just take it one step at a time, alright?" Sam tries telling him calmly.

"Yeah, and the first step is trying to figure out who this damn demon is possessing." I huff.

"Well, it's usually gonna be somebody with some sort of weakness, you know, a chink in the armor that the demon can worm through, somebody with an addiction, or some sort of emotional distress." Dean explains as I nod along.

"I mean, this is supposed to be Amanda's first flight after that plane crash, so she must be feeling some type of way." I point out.

"Yeah, if I were her, I'd be pretty messed up." Sam agrees.

"Mm-Hmm." Dean nods. Dean and I turn our heads towards the approaching flight attendant. Calling for her politely, the woman turns around to assist Dean and gives a friendly smile.
