I jolt awake when I hear this loud thud coming from upstairs. Another thud following quickly after made me pull away my covers. Hesitantly, I step out of my bed and quickly call Jessica to see if everything's alright up there. Surprisingly she picked up on the second ring.

"What's going on up there?" Is the first thing I say.

"I have no idea, I'm about to find out though. Sam?" I hear her call. I hear muffled voices respond before she talks.

"Wait, your brother Dean?" That has me confused.

"What's going on Jessica? If it's nothing serious I'm going back to bed." I grumble, rubbing my forehead as it pounds painfully.

"Yeah we're alright up here, sorry to wake you up Jennifer."

"It's fine. Just tell Sam to stop dropping things up there. There's people that actually like to sleep at night." I hear her chuckle and I smile before hanging up.

I had a weird feeling though. Everything just didn't feel right. There was no way I'd be able to go back to sleep.

I groan in annoyance, moving to the bathroom to brush away the alcohol from my mouth because I was gonna check on them myself. So I know for sure everything's alright.

Why were they talking about Dean? I know that Sam doesn't really like talking about his family unless he has too. That's when I hear a door slam shut above me and that gets me more confused.

Spitting my toothpaste out. I take my hand towel to wipe away the water on my face before walking out into the living room and grabbing my Stanford zip up hoodie. Quietly opening my front door, I make my way down the hallway and up the stairs to Sam and Jessica's place. Knocking quickly, I bounce on one foot as I impatiently wait for someone to open the door.

"Jennifer? What's wrong." Jessica's concerned face comes to view when she fully opens the door.

"I heard the door slam and I wanted to check on you guys in person. Where is Sam?"

"I told you everything is fine. Sam and his brother just left to go talk about something going on with their dad. Saying it was private family business." She shrugs and my eyes widen.

"You mean Sam's brother Dean?" I ask, shock taking over my features.

"I mean last I checked that's the only brother Sam has." she jokes, crossing her arms.

"I'll be back." I turn around quickly but I feel Jessica's hand wrap around my upper arm.

"Are you alright?" her eyes no longer hold a joking look to them, but instead with concern.

"Yeah, don't worry. I'll just be a minute. I-I need something from my room." I randomly make up. Smiling slightly, I gently move away from her grasp and head back down the stairs.

Once I'm out of her view I sprint the rest of the way down. Throwing open the main doors of the building I look around for Sam's giant form.

"Sam?" I call out. I hear voices speaking distantly, but I don't see any giant. Quietly, I walk towards the sound of the voices as I near the side of the building.

"What was he hunting?" I sigh in relief when I hear Sam's voice.

"Sam!" I yell, turning the corner and immediately stop when I see who's next to him.

"Jennifer?" Sam sounds utterly confused and it makes me crack a smile.

"So, this is Jenny? I should come around this college more often." Dean smirks, rocking on his toes. I itch to punch him so hard for calling me that nickname.
