"You know, her boyfriend killing himself, that's not really Charlie's fault." Dean points out as he drives through the heavy rainfall.

"You know as well as I do, spirits don't exactly see shades of gray, Dean."

"Sam's right. I mean, Charlie did keep a secret, and it does involve someone dying. I guess that's all Mary needs to see." I sigh, playing with the ends of my hair since I had nothing else to do.

"I guess."

"You know, I've been thinking." Sam starts.

"That's never good." I snort in amusement.

"It might not be enough to just smash that mirror." Sam says, ignoring my comment.

"Why, what do you mean?" Dean asks.

"Well, Mary's hard to pin down, right? I mean, she moves around from mirror to mirror. So, who's to say that she's not gonna just keep hiding in them forever?" I think about that for a moment.

"You gotta point." I praise with a nod.

"So maybe...we should try to pin her down, you know, summon her to her mirror, and then smash it." Sam suggests. I look at him like he's crazy.

"Wait, what?"

"Well, how do you know that's gonna work?" Dean asks him.

"I don't, not for sure."

"Um, and who exactly do you think will be doing the summoning?" I ask in confusion, moving up to the edge of my seat.

"I will."

"Ugh, come on, Sam." I groan, running a hand down my face.

"She'll come after me." Sam says, ignoring me again. I see Dean shake his head.

"Alright, you know what? That's it." Dean pulls the Impala to the side of the road quickly and turns off the engine before turning to Sam. This is not gonna end well, I can feel it. And I'm not about to get in the middle of it.

"This is about Jessica, isn't it?" Dean questions but Sam doesn't bother answering him. "You think that's your dirty little secret, that ya killed her somehow?" Dean asks instead, still no answer. "Sam, this has got to stop, man. I mean, t-the nightmares, a-a-and calling her name out in the middle of the night...it's gonna kill you. Now, listen to me." Dean's face becomes very serious. "It wasn't your fault. If you want to blame something, then blame the thing that killed her. Or, hell, why don't you take a swing at me? I mean, I'm the one who dragged you and Jennifer away from her in the first place."

"Dean-" I start to say sadly but Sam cuts me off.

Did he really blame himself for what happened?

"I don't blame you." Sam says, finally meeting his brother's gaze.

"Well, you shouldn't blame yourself, because there's nothing you coulda done."

"I could've warned her."

"About what?! You didn't know it was gonna happen." Dean retorts. Sam looks away from his brother, staring straight ahead.

"And, besides, all of this isn't a secret. I mean, Jenny and I know all about it. It's not gonna work with Mary anyway."

"No, you don't." Sam says quietly.

"We don't what?"

"You both don't know all about it. I haven't told you everything." Sam admits.
