The Impala flies down the road, and it has me gripping the side of the door tightly as I press myself against the leather seats. I nearly want to shout at Dean to slow down but I know the speed is necessary so I keep my mouth shut.

"Yes, Mr. Pike, there's a main line gas leak in your neighborhood." Dean says into the phone. My leg bounces up and down as I watch Dean's facial expressions in the rear mirror. "Well, it's fairly extensive. I don't wanna alarm you but, uh, we need your family out of the vicinity for at least twelve hours or so just to be safe." Dean continues to lie. Last time we tried using this excuse it worked so hopefully it'll succeed again. "Travis Weaver. I work for, uh, Oklahoma gas and power." A moment passes before Dean seems lost for words and hangs up the phone.

"Guessing he didn't fall for it." I sigh, running a hand over my face.

"Give me the phone." Sam says in annoyance as he snatches the cell phone out of Dean's hand. Sam's quick to dial a new number and I furrow my brows wondering who it could be.

"Matt, it's Sam." Not caring about the speed anymore, I scoot forward in anticipation when I hear Matthew's name. "Matt, just listen, you have to get your family out of that house right now, okay?" Sam turns his head to the side to glance at Dean and I. "Because something's coming."

"What's he saying?" I hiss. Sam waves me away.

"Yeah, a lot more." He says into the phone.

"Does he know about the biblical swarm?" Again I don't get an answer. It was starting to annoy me.

"You gotta make him listen, okay?" Sam questions. I widen my eyes and reach over to snatch the phone away from his ear. Sam looks back at me with an annoyed expression but I ignore it, bringing the phone to my ear.

"Matthew, you will not tell your family about this, they'll just think you're crazy." I tell him sternly.

"Jennifer?" He sounds confused at the sudden change in persons.

"Yeah, it's me. Forget what Sam said, alright? Just tell your parents that you have a sharp pain in your lower right side and that you need a hospital, alright? Can you do that?" I question him hurriedly.

"Yeah, yeah I can do it." He breathes out shakily. When he hangs up, I press the phone against Sam's chest.

"Good plan, Sam. Let's just tell the poor scared kid to make his dad listen." I mock sarcastically.

When we arrived at the Pike's household it was just after midnight. The first thing I spotted was their car that was still parked in the driveway, then it was the lights that were on in the house.

"Damn it, they're still here. Come on." Dean orders, getting out of the car. I notice Larry looking out the window, and by the time I step on the sidewalk, he's opening the door with an angry face and an accusing finger pointed at us.

"Get off my property before I call the cops!" Larry shouts at us.

"Mr. Pike, listen." Sam is about to continue but Matthew speaks up.

"Dad, they're just trying to help." Matthew tries to defend. Larry turns to him, practically fuming.

"Get in the house!" He yells at his son. I look over at Matthew and throw my hands up with a exasperated expression.

"S-sorry I told him the truth."

"I give him one simple task. One." I grumble, letting my hands fall against my thighs as I look away.
