~ May, 2028 ~

"Happy birthday, baby!" I said, giving my baby girl a huge hug. She smiled while I gave her endless kisses. "Thank you, mommy!" She says. I gently placed the breakfast tray down in front of my Princess. Breakfast in bed for my beautiful birthday girl.
Today was an emotional day for Justin and I. Mainly me, because I was such a crybaby. 11 years ago today, I gave birth to a beautiful little human being. My Ava Jade. My baby girl was 11 years old today. I couldn't believe it.
"Happy Birthday, Avi!" Elian tells his big sister. I watched my two babies from the doorway. My heart was so full. I had so much to be thankful for. "Thank you, Papas!" Ava says, hugging Elian. I wanted to cry so bad. Elian was only 4 but he was so overprotective of his big sister. He didn't want anybody messing with her, as he should. I raised the coolest, funniest, smartest kids. I was such a proud mama!
"Happy Birthday, mama!" Genesis says, hugging her niece. "Thank you, Titi!" Ava said. "I can't believe you're 11, kid. Stop growing!" Anthony says, nudging Ava's head. Ava laughed.
It was 6 PM. Justin and I invited our closest friends and family over to celebrate Ava's birthday. It was a week night, so today we were doing something small. But we promised our baby girl that we would do something huge the following weekend.
"I can't believe y'all have a mini teenager!" Justin's mother, Dee says. I put my hand on my chest. "I know. Pretty soon we're gonna have to start planning her sweet 16." I said. "Aye, we got 5 more years before we need to worry about all that. Don't rush it." Justin butts in. We all laughed.
All of the adults were in the kitchen, doing what adults did. Drinking, laughing, and conversing. It was nothing but great vibes. We had already eaten, cut Ava's cake, and opened her gifts. Now, the kids were all in Ava's room.
"When's the last time you heard from Juju?" I asked Justin. My husband sighed. "You know I haven't talked to him in mad long. Kalani don't let him do shit." He tells me. I finished wiping down the kitchen counter and put Ava's ice cream cake in the freezer. Well, what was left of it. Everybody had already left. Elian and Ava were in their rooms for the night. It was a great day.
Kalani was Juju's girlfriend. She was a sick bitch. Not only was she toxic, but she lied about being pregnant. I knew she was lying the entire time. That bitch was not to be trusted. I told Justin she was lying and he ain't believe me. Now, look. Nobody ever listened to me.
"Well, you know how I feel about that girl. She lost all of my respect the minute we found out she wasn't pregnant." I said. "I know,babe." Justin says. I was mad about it all over again because who the fuck lies about something like that?! "Do you know how sick you have to be to lie about something like that?" I fumed. "Babe, please don't start with that tonight. I'm tired." Justin tells me. "Fine." I said.

"Be careful, baby. You gotta hold her neck." I say, gently to KJ. "Mommy, I got her!" My son says to me. I smiled while snapping photos on my phone. "Okay, mommy's just making sure." I said.
On May 2nd at 5:45 in the morning, I gave birth to my precious baby girl Kaia Saige. She weighed a healthy 6 pounds and 3 ounces. Miss mamas had a head full of hair and these big, beautiful hazel eyes just like her grandma (Kaleb's mother). We finally had our girl. Kaleb and I were done having babies. For now.
Anyway, Kaia was only 2 weeks old. We were able to bring her home 2 days after she was born. I was so happy to be home with all of my babies so soon. I hated being in that hospital. Even if it was only for 2 days.
Today, I decided to have a mini photo shoot with the kids. Whenever I have the time, I'm always taking pictures of my babies. Every chance I get. Yeah, I was one of those moms.
Anyway, while I was feeding Kaia, I got a phone call. Camilla wanted to talk. "Hello?" I said. "Hey, this might be a stupid question because I know you just had a baby. But are you home?" She says. I laughed. "You're right. That is a stupid question." I teased. We both shared a laugh. "So, I can come over and see my niece and nephews?" My older sister says. "Of course! Come on over." I said.
"For somebody who just had a baby 2 weeks ago, you look good!" My sister tells me. I flip my hair and do a silly pose. KJ and Kaiden laughed at their mama. "Thank you!" I said. I handed my sister a burp cloth while she held Kaia.
I haven't heard from my half sisters since that disastrous dinner. However, Michael and I have gotten a lot closer. It's still surreal to know that he was my father. To this day, I cannot believe that I was lied to my entire life. I'd forgive my mother someday, but not anytime soon.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I got an invitation to Elle and Aria's birthday party." Camilla tells me. I look at her and laugh. "You not going are you?" I asked. Camilla laughed, too. "After the way those little bitches treated you and came for my mac and cheese? I think not!" She said. We laughed together. "I appreciate that, sissy." I say.
