Camilla

~ Monday, July 6th ~

"Call me when y'all land. Have a safe flight. I love you guys!" I said, hugging my mother. "We love you, too baby. We'll be back soon." She says. Next, I hugged my sister. "I love you, Cece. Call me whenever you need me, okay?" I say. She nodded. "I wish I could stay here forever. California is so beautiful!" My baby sister tells me. I smiled. "You know you can always come back whenever you want. With or without mommy." I say in a low tone.
Today, our families were leaving Cali and going back to Jersey. It was bittersweet because I loved having everybody here. It was nice. But that also meant that I could go back to walking around in my panties. Good times.
"Did your sister figure out what she was gonna do about the pregnancy yet?" Nya asked. I took a long sip of my orange juice before responding. "She wants to keep the baby." I said. "Really?" Nya says. I nodded my head and sighed. "Yeah, I told her that I would support her no matter what and I am. It's just my mother I'm worried about." I admitted.
Ever since my mom found out about Celeste being pregnant, all she did the entire time she was here, was drink. I mean, nonstop. Just this morning she had a hangover. I've never seen my mother drink like this. She was really stressed about this.
"Yeah, ya moms was bugging this weekend." Nya says. I wanted to laugh but deep down, I was really worried. About my mother and Celeste. "I know. She had a hangover just this morning!" I said. Both Nya and I laughed. I couldn't help it.
To get my mind off of everything, Nya and I decided to have a night out. We were gonna go to this club in downtown LA. I was lowkey nervous because clubs weren't really my thing. However, we were in California. So we might as well make the most out of it, right?
"You look bomb!" Nya tells me. I smiled at her as I flipped my hair. "Why, thank you! You don't look so bad yourself." I said. My best friend stood up and spun around because she always had to do the most. She was mad extra.

Nya and I stopped at McDonald's before we went to the club

Nya and I stopped at McDonald's before we went to the club. I didn't plan on drinking tonight so I told her she could turn up. But I ain't want her to get crazy drunk to the point where she would pass the fuck out. This is a new environment so we needed to be careful with that.
We've been at the club for about an hour and I was already ready to go. I've been sitting at the bar and sipping on the same dry martini all night. This place was more like a lounge rather than a club. I felt like I wasted a cute outfit. Meanwhile, Nya was 3 drinks in and having the time of her life. She was drunk as fuck.
"Having fun?" A male voice said to me. I turn around and almost drop my drink. Standing in front of me was this tall, handsome ass man. I have never met anybody this fine. He was light skinned, had the sharpest jawline, and a smile so bright you could see it from a mile away. I smiled. "I'd actually rather be home." I said. "Wow, that bad, huh?" The handsome, but mysterious man says.
"I'm Damian. What's your name?" He says, sticking out his hand. "Camilla." I said, taking his hand. I watched, and damn near melted, as he made eye contact while he kissed my hand. "It's nice to meet you, Camilla. Are you from around here?" Damian says, taking a seat next to me. "Actually, no. I'm from Jersey. My best friend and I moved out here a couple months ago." I tell him. "Oh, that's wassup. Did you come here with your best friend?" He says. "Yes, she's on the dance floor. Drunk off her ass." I said, forgetting I had even come here with Nya. We both look at the dance floor and see my best friend acting a fool. Damian laughed.
The night actually wasn't so bad. Damian helped me carry Nya to my car and we exchanged phone numbers. I was so embarrassed by Nya's drunken behavior but we were gonna talk about that in the morning. I figured I would let her sleep in the car.

Justin

~ Wednesday ~

"Justin, what're your doing here? Ava isn't awake yet." Krystal says. "I know. I just wanted to check on you. You good?" I said, walking in. Krystal wasn't facing me and that upset me. "Krystal, look at me." I said. When Krystal finally did look at me, my heart sank. She had a huge black and blue bruise under her right eye. It looked like it had gotten better, but I still wanted to beat this nigga ass.
I was 2 hours early picking Ava up from my baby mamas house. Truth be told, I was pissed when Krystal told me what Felix did to her. Krystal and I didn't get along and we never really saw eye to eye. But at the end of the day, that was the mother of my child. I would always have love and respect for her. She gave birth to my seed. How could I not make sure she was good?
"Justin, it's not worth it." Krystal pleaded. "Nah, that nigga put his hands on you. That ain't gonna fly. Not over here. Where he live at?" I said. "Justin, no! I'm not letting you throw your life away. Not again." She says. The room went quiet.
Before Krystal got pregnant, I got arrested for selling weed and ended up in jail. I was locked up for 3 years. Krystal stayed down for me the whole time. I mean, even though we currently weren't together, I still loved her for that. She held me down.
I sat down on the couch. "You know what? You right. It ain't worth it." I said. Krystal sat down next to me. "Felix is gonna get his karma. Trust me. Ima be alright." She tells me. We both laughed and then the room went silent yet again.
"Okay, so I'm taking her to ballet at 2 pm, right?" I said. She nodded her head. "Yup." She says. I put Ava in her car seat. "What you about to do?" I asked Krystal. "What you mean?" "You got work today or nah?" I questioned. "I mean I took off today. Why, wassup?" My baby mama says. I closed the car door. Ava was too busy watching her show on her iPad. "Come with us to her ballet class later." I suggested.

* Spoiler Alert: Justin and Krystal might be getting back together 😉
