"Yo!" I said into the phone. "Hey, mama! You ready?" Tyrell says. I smile as I look at myself in the mirror one last time. "I've been ready!" I pressed. Tyrell laughed on the other end of my phone.
I was getting ready for another amazing date night with my baby. Tyrell and I been dating for almost 7 months now and I've never been this happy. No nigga has ever made me this soft and I hated to admit it, but I lowkey liked it. Scratch that, I loved it. He was so good to me. Sometimes I felt like I didn't deserve him, but I knew I did cause I been through a lot.
"Aight, I'll be there in 10 minutes. I can't wait to see you. I miss you, baby." Tyrell says to me. I blushed. "I miss you, more papa! Hurry up and come get me." I said. "I'm hurrying, mama. Don't worry!" He assures me. "Okay, see you soon. Let me finish getting ready." I tell him. "Okay, 10 minutes. I love you." "I love you, too baby!" I said. Then, we hung up the phone.
"You look so beautiful. I missed you so much!" Tyrell says to me. "I missed you more! How was your trip?" I said, before taking a sip of my lemon water. Tyrell took me to this cute little outdoor restaurant not too far from my house. We were having brunch.
Tyrell had just got back from a Canada trip. One of his friends was getting married soon, so for some reason he wanted to take a trip to Canada. Don't ask me why cause I don't know. I was just happy to finally have my baby back. He was away from me for 2 weeks.
My phone vibrated. Camilla texted me. She said, "Tacos for dinner?" I texted her back, telling her that I had already made plans to be with Ty tonight. I felt bad because she and I haven't been hanging out as much as I would like. I was gonna make it up to her, though.Justin
"Hi, dada!" Ava says, running up to me. I smiled and picked my baby girl up in my arms. "Hey, princess!" I say, before kissing her cheeks. I put her down and we walk hand in hand to the car. "Where's mommy?" Ava asked. I put my daughter in her car seat and strapped her in.
It was a cold ass day in Jersey. I picked Ava up from daycare while Krystal was at a doctors appointment. She been throwing up all day for the past 2 days so she made a doctors appointment. She was worried about the baby. I tried to tell her that it wasn't nothing to worry about but she ain't wanna hear all that. Women.
"Mommy is at the doctors." I tell Ava. I started the car after I made sure my baby was all strapped in. "What happened to mommy?" Ava says. I shouldn't have just said Krystal was at the doctors. Ava don't play about her mama. "Mommy's okay, I promise. She just had a belly ache." I tell her.
As of right now, life was great. Krystal and I were back together, engaged, and now we're expecting another baby. We haven't told Ava yet, though. I been trying not to just tell her myself. I know that would be fucked up. I was just mad excited.
"Hi, mommy!" Ava says, greeting her mother. Krystal smiles as she gets in the car. "Hi, baby!" She says. After getting in the passenger seat, Krystal kisses me. "How you feeling?" I asked my baby mama. "I feel fine now. Did you tell Ava yet?" She says. "No I was waiting for you so we could tell her together!" I said. Krystal smiles yet again. "Good. I wanna tell her today." She tells me.
"Ava, come sit in between mommy and daddy. We wanna tell you something." I said, patting the empty spot. "Okay!" She sang. I sighed as our 3 year old plopped on the couch. "Okay, how would you feel about being a big sister?" Krystal says. Ava smiled. "Happy?" She said. "Yeah? You'd be happy?" Ava nodded her head. "Okay, well what if I told you that mommy had a baby in her belly? How would you feel?" Krystal went on. "A baby?" Ava says. "Yes, a baby! You're gonna be a big sister." "Yay!" Our princess cheered. Obviously, we were happy that Ava was happy. Krystal was so sure that Ava would be upset, which of course I thought was dumb.Celeste

"Mommy, Kaleb and I have something to tell you." I said, happily. "What is it?" She pressed. I took a deep breath before going on. "We're getting married!" I cheer, showing off the ring. "What?" She says. "Yup! And we're moving in together." I said.
It was my idea to take my mother out for brunch. I wanted to spend as much time with her before the baby came. Kaleb and I thought it would be the perfect time to tell her our plans. We knew she'd freak out less if she had a few mimosas.
I sat there and waited for my mother to react. But there was nothing. It was actually making me feel uneasy. "Mommy, say something!" I pleaded. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" She says. "I mean, yeah. We've been together for 3 years. We're having a baby!" I respond. I looked over at Kaleb and smiled. He grabbed my hand. "Just because you're having a baby doesn't mean you should get married. Let alone move in together. Celeste, you're only 18." My mother says to me.
Yes, I was only 18. But if I wasn't sure about anything else, I was sure about Kaleb. I loved him and he loved me. I wanted to be with him forever. I didn't want anybody else. We were meant to be. This was a forever thing.
I sighed. "I know. Kaleb and I talked about all of this." I said. My mother sat back in her chair. "And what if it doesn't work out?" She asked. I sighed. "It will." I said. My mom laughed. "This is a joke, right?" She says. "Clearly this isn't a joke, mama." I said. Now, I was getting frustrated.
"Well, that went... surprisingly well." Kaleb says. I sat on the bed. My mother and I ended up arguing the whole way home. I wasn't planning on staying over Kaleb's, but after what my mother said, I didn't even wanna see her face at the moment. So, here we are.
Kaleb grabbed my hand and gave it a small peck. "Your mom loves you, baby. She just wants the best for you." He tells me. I sigh and lay my head on his chest. "I know and I see that. She just does too much sometimes." I said. Next, Kaleb kisses my forehead. "Trust me, I know. But are you really surprised that your mother acted the way she did?" He says. I laughed. "No, not really. I mean, it kinda was sudden. We've been engaged for an entire month and we ain't say nothing." I said. "For real. I'm still tryna figure out how ya big headed ass hid that ring from yo mama all this time." Kaleb says. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Whatever!" I said.
