*Amelia's POV*

"Sweetie, we gotta get back to the station. It's getting late and you still have to go home" Demi woke me up.
I opened my eyes and sat up.
How did I even fall asleep?
How long was I sleeping?

"Go get ready to leave, okay? I'll wait downstairs for you" she smiled, and left.

I slowly got out of the bed.
Ugh, so not in the mood to go back 'home'.

"Amelia! You fell asleep" Corey jumped in my arms, as I came down.

"I know, buddy. I didn't mean to, though. It was an accident"

"That's okay. I just wanted to play with you. But I played with daddy instead"

"That's very nice of your daddy, right?"

"Yeah. My daddy's very nice. I love him"

"That's very good. I loved my daddy, too. He was also very nice" I said, but regretted it right away, as I felt tears form in my eyes.
Why?
Why did I have to bring up dad?
Why did he have to die?

"Are you okay, Amelia?" Corey asked.

"Yeah, sweetheart. I'm fine" I whispered.

"My mommy said that you have to leave again, now. I'm gonna miss you so much. Your like my big sister. I'm gonna miss having my big sister around" he hugged me.

"I'll miss you, too. You're my little buddy. I'm gonna miss hugging my buddy" I said, looking at the ceiling in a failed attempt not to cry.

I saw Demi and Drake watching us, but that was okay.
I was gonna miss them, too.

"Am I gonna see you again?"

"I hope so, bud. I really, really hope so" I hugged him tightly, as tears were now streaming down my face, freely.

"Yeah, sweethearts. You'll see each other again. Don't worry about that. We'll make sure of it" Drake whispered, as he wrapped his arms around us both.
A lone tears slipped out of his eye and ran down his cheek.
I looked up at Demi and saw her standing, watching us, as waterfalls were streaming down her face.

Wow, I didn't think she'd cry that much. I didn't even think she's cry, at all.

It made me think of that time mom cried when I left to summer camp for the first time.

"Do you have everything packed, baby?" dad asked.

"Yep. I think so"

"Are you gonna miss me?" Lucas asked.

"What kind of question is that? Of course I'm gonna miss you. I'll bring you back a present, okay?"

"Yeah, that's okay. I'll miss you, though"

"Aww, I'll be back before you know it" I hugged him.

"Okay, we gotta go if you wanna come on time" dad said.
He was gonna bring me.

"Bye Lia. I love you" Lucas waved.

"I love you too, bud" I smiled at him, "Bye mom. I'll miss you" I hugged her.

"I'll miss you too, girly" she whispered.
I looked at her and saw that she was crying.
I did not expect that, at all.

"You don't have to cry. You're gonna make me cry, too. I'll be back in a few weeks"

"I know. It's just so unusual not to have you home" she smiled.

"Okay, darling. Let's get going" dad screamed from outside.

"Bye mom. But Lucas. I love you!" I screamed and ran out it the car.

"Can you come to the funeral?" I asked Drake, in a whisper.

"Of course. If you want me to"

"Yeah, I do. And also Corey"

"Sure. It's in two days, right?"

"Yeah"

"I'll make sure to be there with Corey and Demi" he hugged me, tightly, "In the meantime, I'll miss you tons"

"I'll miss you, too"

"Amelia, we gotta go now" Demi whispered.
I nodded and gave Corey one more super tight hug.

"I love you, Corey" I whispered.

"I love you too, Amelia" he cried.

Oh my boy. I'll miss you so much.
