"So, what's exactly going on?" Brody asked.

"She won't talk to the therapist" Ruby informed him.

"What therapist?"

"I told you that she was going to a therapist. Stacy said, it'll help her deal with the pain and that she'll start talking again"

It annoyed me that they always talked about me, like I wasn't around.
Just because I don't talk, doesn't mean I don't hear what other people say.

"Oh yeah, right, you told me. So, it's not working?"

"Not yet. The therapist said, that a lot of times it doesn't work right away, and it'll take a few sessions"

"So, what's the problem?"
It was funny how clueless he was to all if this.
To be honest, I didn't know what the problem was either, but I thought he at least should understand what her problem was. She's his wife, after all.

"The problem is that I don't think it's gonna work. It's just a weird lady, talking to her for half an hour. What's that gonna help? Why should we spent our money on that?"

"So, don't send her" he said, as a matter of fact.

Thank you, mister. That's what I wanted to hear.

"But Stacy said to do it"

"Who cares what Stacy says?" he was annoyed with this whole story and I was, too.
I don't even get why I was supposed to be by this talk. They weren't even talking to me.

"She's her social worker, Brody"

"So what?! You shouldn't let Stacy have such a power over you. Amelia is in our care now. We can do what we want to do. If we don't want to pay for a therapist, we don't. If Stacy insist in sending her, she can pay for it herself. She's not the one to decide what we do with our money. Even if she is Amelia's social worker. It doesn't matter"

"You don't like Stacy, do you?"

"Who does?"

He was right, though. Obviously, no one liked Stacy. There was just something wrong about her, that made everyone dislike her.
He made it very clear to her, though, that he wasn't a fan of hers.

"Okay Amelia. We're here" Stacy smiled, as I stepped out of the car.
She had just brought me 'home' from the funeral.
I knocked in the door and Brody opened. He smiled at me.

"Hi Amelia"
I gave him a tiny, toothless smile back.
He was kinda nice. I couldn't ignore him.

I walked in and Stacy wanted to follow us inside.

"You coming in?" Brody asked.

"Well, yeah, I was planing to. Unless it's a problem, of course"

"Yeah, it kind of is. See, Ruby's bringing Debby to bed now and it's gonna disturb her if someone comes in"
He was lying, though. Ruby wasn't bringing Debby to bed, at all.

"Oh okay, I'll be going then. See you soon" she turned around.

"How soon is soon?" he asked, before she entered her car again.

"Either next week, or the week after that"

"The week after next week is fine. Thanks" he said, before closing the door.

"Please keep away, as much as possible" he mumbled.

She ended up coming two days later, though, to see if I had started talking and to tell me that I needed a therapist.
Brody was really annoyed with her. But who could blame him, though?
I would've made it clear to her too, if I'd actually talk to her, which I don't.

"I know, but I can't just completely ignore her. She can take Amelia out of our care. I don't want that" Ruby said.

Oh, that's new. Why would you want me in your care?

"Hey Amelia. Can you just go check on Debby for a minute, please? She's supposed I be in her room" Ruby asked.
I nodded and went upstairs.
I went to Debby's room and she wasn't there.
Ugh, where's that little fucker?

I heard noise coming from my room, so I went here.

Oh my god!
What's she doing?!
