*Amelia's POV*

"Here we are, Amelia. I'm not going in with you. Just remember, don't get too attached. They have nothing to do with you anymore. You have a different family now. You're only going here for once. It's not an occasional thing. Now, go have fun and I'll see you in a few days" Stacy lectured me.
Why doesn't she just shut up?

I have no idea what her problem is, but she doesn't like Demi and Peter, at all. Apparently she was supposed to update them on me, but she never did, cause they're 'not a part of my life' anymore.
Ruby and Brody both said it was bullshit and that they can be in my life if they want to.

She made a whole big deal about me going to Demi's house for a few days now, and she didn't wanna bring me. Ruby said that if she doesn't bring me, Ruby's gonna bring me herself. So Stacy decided it was better if she could bring me, so she can lecture me on the way not to get used to it and all that other stuff she was talking about.

I'm happy to go there, though. I missed them. I like them better then my 'family'.
Ruby turned out not to be so bad. I thought she was gonna be way worse then she actually is. I still don't like her, but she's okay.
Brody and Mandy are okay, too. Mandy's actually really cute.
Debby is annoying as fuck, though. She's just literally the one person in the world that can get on every single one of my nerves. And she's so good at it, that she can do it like, at least, twenty times a day. And she never, ever shuts up. She just keeps on talking and talking all day long. And that voice of hers, is so pitchy and high. It burns your ears.
I'm surprised I'm not deaf, yet.

Anyway, Ruby kinda surprised me when she told me I was gonna come here.

"Amelia, I have something to tell you" she came into my room.
I looked up at her and nodded.

"So, as you already know, I don't think this whole therapist thing is gonna work. And you obviously don't like going there. And I don't wanna have to force you to go, and Brody thinks the same. We do, however, think that it's not very good for you not to talk for so long. It might affect your speech. So, we know you did talk to that police officer that took care of you and we thought that maybe you'd like to go here for a few days, so you can talk normally. We're not doing this cause we don't want you here, or because we're fed up with your or anything. We only want the best for you and we think this will help you. If you don't want you don't have to go. We're not forcing you. But would you like to go?" she asked.
I nodded.

I really didn't expect that from them, at all. It was actually pretty nice of them.

I got out of the car and walked up to Demi's front door.
I knocked and Drake opened.
As soon as he saw me, a huge smile came across his face.
It was nice to see that he was so happy to see me.

"Hey Amelia! How are you? We missed you!" he hugged me, as he led me in and closed the door behind us.

"I missed you, too" I smiled.

"Corey's been waiting for you. He really missed you a lot"

"Yeah, I missed him, too. Where is he?"

"He's still in kindergarten. Demi's gonna pick him up in about half an hour. She's still at work, so she's gonna pick him up on the way back. You can put your stuff in the same room you slept in last time. Just get settled, okay? I'll get some food ready for when you're done. If you need anything, I'll be in the kitchen"

"Okay. Thanks" I took my bags and walked upstairs to 'my' room.
I put away my stuff and walked back downstairs.

"Here, sit down" Drake put a plate with cut up fruits and vegetables on the table. It was so cute how he made that for me.

"Thanks" I smiled at him.

"Demi just texted. She'll be home in about ten minutes"

"Okay"

He sat down across for me and we just talked a little about the family I live with and how I'm enjoying it.
Soon the door opened and we heard Demi and Corey come in.

"Amelia!" Corey ran to me, as soon as he saw me.

"Hey buddy" I smiled, as I hugged him tightly.

"I missed you" he mumbled.

"I missed you, too"

I stood up to go and greet Demi, but he didn't let me. He had his arms wrapped around me tightly, and didn't let go.
