I looked down on my plate, with still some food on it, and played around with it with my fork.
I could feel Demi's eyes on me, though."Do you wanna talk about it?" she asked after a few minutes of silence.
I shook my head.
No, I don't."Will you at least listen to what I have to say?" she asked.
I just shrugged my shoulder.
Sure, why not.I don't know why, but I just couldn't find my voice to talk to her. It was like we were back to square one.
"Thanks. Listen, you're not here because I pity you, Amelia. Yeah, I do feel bad for you, but I don't pity you. I think everyone feels bad for you and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with having people feel bad for you after such a tragedy. It's sad when something like that happens and people feel for you. You shouldn't be ashamed if that. I agreed to have you come here, cause I love you. My whole family loves you, Amelia. It has nothing to do with pity and I would not want you to leave, at all. Of course, if you don't wanna stay, you can leave, but it's not like I want you to. All I was doing, was trying to help you. I know it's hard to go through stuff like this and I know you're not as happy as you make it seem to be. Now, there's nothing wrong with acting happy when you're not, but it's unhealthy to bottle up your feelings inside of you. At a certain point, you're going to break, if you never let out your feeling. It's a burden on you and it's gonna get too heavy. I'm not saying you have to tell me anything. I'm just trying to make you understand that there's nothing to be ashamed of and there's nothing wrong with feeling like there's no light in life anymore. It's okay to feel like that and it's okay to show it" she said.
I looked at her and she was looking up at the ceiling in a failed attempted not to cry, as I saw a tear roll down her cheek.
I swallowed hard, trying not to cry myself, but slowly a tear slipped our of my eye, as well.
I bit my lip hard, but it was no use. The tears now just kept on streaming down my face. I put my hand over my mouth, trying not to make any sound, but luck wasn't with me and I failed.
As a sob escaped my mouth, Demi looked at me and saw me crying. She quickly stood up and walked over to me, wrapping her arms around shoulders, as she stood next to me.
I was shaking with sobs, as she tried to calm me down, while a few tears made their way down her face, too."And then- then- then we lost" Lucas sobbed.
We were sitting in the kitchen, Lucas and I, and he was crying. He just came home from school and his team had lost the game."It's okay, buddy. You'll get another chance to win" I tried to calm him down.
"But we could've won. We could be made it. But then I fell and I made us lose" he was shaking with sobs.
I walked over to him and hugged him, as I felt something wet make it's way down my cheek. Yeah, I was crying, too.
It hurt me to see my little brother in so much pain.
He was a tough little boy, that didn't cry very often.
If he cried like this, it mean he was really hurting.
What hurt the most was that it was over such a stupid basketball game. Come on, it was a game.
But for him it was more then just a game."I'm sorry, bud" I rubbed his back.
We were in the same position now. Me shaking with sobs and Demi trying to calm me down, while crying herself.
"I'm sorry, darling" she whispered, as she rubbed my back.
"I'm gonna give Corey a bath now" Drake called from upstairs.
"Okay" Demi replied.
We sat like that for a few more minutes, before I pulled away and ran upstairs.
I ran into the room and lay down on the bed, crying myself to sleep, leaving Demi downstairs, totally confused.-----
Next update: WednesdayMessage me if you need someone to talk to.

I love you!
