"I gotta go now. Will you be okay to be alone with Corey? I can leave him in kindergarten till I'm finished, but it's a little out of the way on the way back, so it'll be easier if he comes home now. If you don't want to, I'll leave him, though" Drake said.

"No, it's fine. I'd love to spent some time with him" I smiled.

"Okay then. I'm gonna bring him now. I'll be back in about fifteen minutes. Make yourself at home and take all you need" he smiled back and left the house.

He came back about fifteen minutes later.

"Hey Amelia!" Corey ran to hug me.

"Hi buddy. How was school?"

"It was fun. Daddy said we can play a long time, today. Till he gets back"

"That's right. We're gonna be alone for some time now. How long?" I asked Drake.

"Maximum two hours"

"We're gonna be alone for two hours?" Corey asked.

"Yep. Is that a problem?" Drake asked.

"No. That means we can play for two hours!" Corey jumped.
Me and Drake chuckled at his excitement.

"Okay, I really gotta go now. I'll see you guys soon. Love you" he kissed both of our foreheads and left.

"What do we do now?" I asked Corey.

"We play" he said in a duh tone.

"What do you wanna play?"

"Can we play police and thief?"

"How do you play that?"

"I'm gonna be a robber and you're gonna be a police and you have to catch me and put me in jail"

"That's not a very nice game" I chuckled.
I remembered once playing it with Lucas. He called it jail, though, not police and thief. Some boy in school had played it with him and he insisted in playing it with me.

"Amelia, let's play jail" Lucas suggested.

"How do you play jail?"

"One of us is gonna be the thief and is gonna steal something. Then the other one is gonna be the police and is gonna have to catch the thief and put him in jail. Then the thief has to try to get out of jail"

"Who the hell even thinks of that kind of games?"

"Who cares? It's fun. Let's play it"

"I don't think I want to play it. It's weird and I don like it"

"Don't be such a girl. It's fun"

"I am a girl. You don't offend me by calling me a girl. And I'm not playing this game with you. I really don't like the way it sounds"

"Come on" he nudged.
As you can guess, he won.
We ended up playing the game twice. Both of us once as the thief and once as the police.
And like I had predicted, I wasn't the game's biggest fan.

"We played it in school and it was super fun" Corey exclaimed.

"But it's not nice to play a thief. A thief is a bad person. Why would you want to be that?"

"But it's just a game"

"Then why don't we play a nicer game?"

"Like what?"

"I don't know. Do you have cars we can play with? Monster trucks? Maybe you even have dolls? I don't know. Something that doesn't include bad people"

"I don't like dolls. I have a few, but they are for girls"

"Do you have cars, then?"

"Yeah. I have a garage with a lot of cars and a pick up truck and a traffic light. I also have an ambulance, police car and fire truck. And I have little people that fit into the cars"

"So why don't we play that?"

"Okay. We can play that also"

"Good. Where is it? Upstairs?"

"Yep. In my room" he took my hand and led me upstairs to his room.

We played with his cars for a good two hours. We were so engrossed in our game that we didn't feel the time go by.
Two hours.
Two whole hours we played with his cars.
They were really cute, though. It was a set with a garage, police car, ambulance, fire truck, pick up truck, tractor, about five cars, a bus and a lot of these little hard doll thingies, that fit exactly into the cars. It was adorable.

We were so busy with our game, that we also didn't realize the front door open and someone standing in the doorway, watching us play.
It wasn't until we heard someone say something, that we both jumped up and looked who was standing there.
