*Amelia's POV*"So, tell me what's in your head right now? What do you see?" the therapist asked.
Darkness.
That's all I see.
I wasn't gonna tell her, though.
I wasn't gonna talk to her.
That Stacy bitch is not gonna succeed in this.
Bringing me to a therapist, cause I don't talk.
Bullshit."Do you wanna write it down, then?" she tried, again.
But I just ignored her.
I am determined not to let Stacy win. I'll show her not to mess with me."Amelia, you're gonna have to start talking again soon, you know? You can't stay mute forever" she said, two days ago.
I just shrugged."I know you're probably gonna hate me for this-" Yeah, cause I don't already hate you, "-But I think I'm gonna have to sent you to a therapist. It'll help"
"What's a therapist gonna do?" Ruby asked.
Turned out, she isn't as bad as I though she'd be.
Don't get me wrong, I still can't stand her, but she's okay. It's that Debby that bugs me, shitless. She won't ever shut up. And with that annoying voice of hers, I'm surprised her parents didn't sent her away, yet.
Anyway, Ruby was a little concerned about me not talking, so she asked Stacy what to do. Stacy came up with the brilliant idea of a therapist.
That woman's crazy."A therapist will talk to her and get her to let out her feelings. She doesn't talk, cause she has all her feelings bottled up inside of her. Once she let's them out and talks about it to someone, she'll feel better and start talking normally again"
"Are you sure? I don't wanna make her do something she doesn't like, if it doesn't help. I also don't wanna waste my money on something useless"
Try to make up stories about not wanting me to do something I don't like, when you actually just don't wanna pay for it.
Good going, lady."I'm positive it'll work. I'll call a good therapist and arrange an appointment, okay? I'll let you know" Stacy said, proudly.
"Thank you" Ruby replied, as I jumped up from my chair and ran upstairs.
I'm not going to talk to a fucking therapist.
They can try all they want, but it's not gonna work."Do you maybe wanna draw it?" she tried again.
Of course, I didn't reply.Give up already, lady. It's not gonna work.
"I see that you really don't wanna talk. We still have about fifteen minutes, but it's not really working. I'm gonna ask you to come back, in two days, though. I'd really appreciate it if you'd maybe write down what's going on in your head. Or you can draw it. I really don't mind. As long as I have an idea of what's going on. It'll be easier for me to help you that way. Now, I'd like to talk to your mother. Can you sent her in, please?"
She's not my mother. And she'll never be.
I stood up and walked to the waiting room, where Ruby was rocking a crying Amanda in her arms.
She saw me coming and came over to me."Are you done, sweetheart?" she asked.
I nodded."So, we go home now?"
I shook my head and pointed for her to go in."I need to go in?" she asked.
I nodded."Okay, but can you please hold Mandy in the meantime?"
I nodded and she handed me the baby. She walked in and I started rocking Mandy up and down in my arms.
"Shhh. It's alright, baby. Everything's fine" I whispered.
Yeah, I do talk to Amanda, but only when no one's around.
She's really cute. There's no denying that.
I can't not talk to her, especially when she's crying. I would be crying too, if I had Debby as my sister."Calm down, baby. It's okay" I whispered, as she started to calm down a little.
After a few minutes, Ruby came out again.
She looked a little.. sad?
I don't know. She wasn't very happy, though. But, honestly, I don't give a fuck."We're gonna have to have a talk when we come home, okay? With Brody. Just the three of us" she informed me.
I nodded and followed her out to her car.Just the three of us. Yeah, cause I though Debby and Amanda will even know what we're talking about.
And what talk? I'm not talking to anyone.-----
