I walked into third period class very late and let me just tell you, luck is never on my side.

"Maraj, you're late again for the fourth time this week." Miss Knowles said without even looking away from the board.

"I- it's just that I--"

"You what?" She asked finally looking away from the board staring at me making me divert my gaze to the floor below me.

"I- I-I mean.."

"You know what I don't even want to know, detention again, you know what time."

"Okay."

I'm really considering switching classes at this point, it's not like I'm excelling in it anyway.

My mind is always occupied by Miss Knowles. Believe me I've tried to stop it but boy when you have a teacher looking like that it's not technically easy.

I was snapped out of my mini day dream by Miss Knowles a.k.a the love of my life.

"Are you going to sit down, or just stare at me till this class is over?"
She asked glaring at me.

I quickly walked to the back of the class were my friends Lauren and Robyn were sat at.

"Hey!" They both said in unison.

"Hey guys."

"..So how do you always stammer in front of Miss Knowles and not us?" Robyn was quick to accuse.

A pink hue grew on my cheeks just from the mention of Miss Knowles.

"I- d-don't know."

"We already know you like her so there's no need to lie to us." Lauren said with a smirk on her face.

"You don't know how much I want to swipe that smirk of your face." I stated annoyed.. these two fools.

They just busted out laughing.

"Do y'all have something you want to share with the class?" Miss Knowles asked glaring at us.

"N-no ma'am."

"Yeah whatever, anyways......"

Class went on and on and I just spent most of it staring at Miss Knowles. I can already tell I've fallen head over heels for this woman.

Soon enough lunch came by, and I really didn't want to go because of belcalis and her squad of plastic bird brains, they're honestly more annoying than intimidating if not.

But you know luck ain't always gonna be on your side, I was eating peacefully when I felt cold milk being poured on my head I looked up to see the entire cafeteria was already staring at the so-called 'drama.'

"Why would you do that?!" I asked feeling my eyes get glassy, my head was spinning and I didn't like it one bit, I felt like throwing up, as far as, I'm concerned I haven't done anything to them since the beginning of this school year, she just always wanna start something.

"I don't have to answer to you, punk."
And they just started laughing.

At that point I couldn't hold my tears back, it just kept coming down.

Until I heard the cafeteria doors open and Robyn shouting at Belcalis, but I just ran out the cafeteria and into the schools toilet.

Then I heard the door open and Robyn and Lauren rushed in.

"Sorry, I didn't know that was gonna happen." Robyn apologizes.

"Yeah, Nika we're really sorry we should have been there." Lauren voiced as well.

I couldn't say anything I just kept sobbing and then they wrapped me in a very calm and comforting hug.
