In the Maraj household, Beyoncé doesn't feel loved anymore because Onika had been too busy drowning herself in work, ever since the death of Lauren her wife and Beyonce's mommy.

I mean it's hard for everyone but Beyoncé had it bad.

"Mama?" Beyonce asked walking into the study were Onika was working.

"Yeah?" Onika replied not looking away from the screen.

"I hungry.." Beyoncé whined.

"I'm coming, give me a few
minutes, I'm almost done with what I'm doing." Onika said focused on her work.

"But I'm hungry now!"

Onika took a long sigh as in frustrated by Beyoncé.

"You know what go to the kitchen and get an apple or something." Onika shrugged still not looking away from her laptop.

"But I want shicki nuggets!" Beyoncé whines louder feeling tears brim her eyes at the lack of attention she was receiving and her growing hunger.

"I don't know BB now leave mama alone please."

"Okay." Beyoncé said feeling sad that her mama did not want her around.

Later in the afternoon

"B.... BB, I'm done with my work, let's go to the park." Onika said walking into Beyoncé's room.

"No, I don't wanna go." Beyoncé replied covering herself more with the sheets.

"Why? but you love the park."

"Mama busy." Beyoncé pouted.

"I'm not busy." Onika said walking closer to the bed feeling the guilt slowly start to set in.

"Yes, Mama busy, Mama no have time for me."

"Oh, I'm sorry baby girl, I didn't mean to make you feel that way." Onika apologized realizing her mistake.

"And as an apology I'll even get you ice cream and you can have playtime with Robyn."

"Yay, riri and ice cream!" Beyoncé screamed with a huge grin on her face.

"So do you forgive me baby girl?"

"Yeah, me forgive you."

"Come give mama a hug." Onika said.

Beyonce ran like the speed of light and hugged her mama it has been so long since they both held each other in one another's embrace.
