chapter four ;; murderous intent

Maybe if Neji got over himself, they wouldn't be in this situation.

You weren't fighting as best as you could. You were fighting on defense to observe your opponent's skills before choosing to fight back. While on defense, you noticed that Asajiro was quite weak in certain aspects. For example, he was a great fighter, he just was horrible at executing his moves. His moves didn't correlate, and they were predictable.

He also talked too much. If he was going to talk as much as he did, it'd be best for him to fight while speaking. However, he did hit quite hard and wasn't too bad at using weapons like shuriken and kunai.

Once you'd finished your observations, it was time to go on offense.

You reached for his ankle which was soon to come in contact with your face if you weren't going to do anything. You then pushed it back down to the ground, gathering enough chakra in your fist to throw a punch at him and send him back.

Despite that, he managed to catch himself from falling and instead slid back while still standing. He whistled.

"You've always got good punches, don't you?" He chuckled. "I guess you are kinda predictable."

You let out a scoffed laugh, rolling your eyes as you gestured with your hand for him to come towards you. He quickly zoomed toward you, going in for another attack. From the push against your chest, you assumed—, no, you knew he was going to try and punch you. Which is why you let yourself fall back, planting your hand down on the ground as you lifted your leg, choking him with your thigh and calf.

That move instantly made him try to move your leg from around his neck, but you managed to throw him to the ground with pure leg strength. Before he hit the ground, you moved your leg and instead landed atop of Asajiro, hand replacing your leg as it went around his throat.

With your free hand, you reached for a kunai, twirling it in between your fingers and grazing it against his skin.

"I won't kill you." You spoke. "Just admit I won and you'll be okay."

He grinned. "You've gotta be kidding me if you think I'm gonna forfeit."

You pushed the kunai further into his skin, seeing blood begin to draw. "Are you sure? I'm giving you a chance here."

"Yeah, I'm sure." He raised his arm, to which it was immediately in between your hands. "...What're you doing?"

"This is your last warning, Asajiro."

"I already told—."

He was cut off by the painful feeling of you beginning to bend his arm backward, the sound of his bones cracking growing louder. His eyes dilated as a yell escaped from his lips, echoing throughout the stands. It was bloodcurdling.

If he could explain the feeling, it was like his arm was already broken, but something was pulling at it with the possible intent to rip it off.

"I...tried to warn you." You said.

Somehow, hearing his yells satisfied you. Seeing his deep crimson blood spill through the cuts forming from his newly broken bones piercing through his skin satisfied you. Feeling him squirming as he desperately tried to get up satisfied you.
