chapter thirty five ;; right your wrongs

Got some words to exchange with you, man.

"Guys—, please!" You begged. "I can talk to him myself! I'm going to talk to him myself, he just... really upset me. Okay? I don't feel like talking to him right now. I will when I'm ready."

"Ah, that's too bad." Toshiro frowned. "Well, if you say so. Me and blondie have some errands to run, but we'll be back later on tonight. Make sure you make room in your bed. We're staying."

"...Whatever."

Toshiro grabbed another water before walking with Inochi, exiting your home and leaving you by yourself. Most likely, they weren't going to listen to you. You couldn't tell them anything, so you may as well just deal with it. After all, you took a nap to forget everything in the end.

"Oh. You don't allow weapons?" Toshiro put his index finger to his chin, humming lowly.

"Sorry, but we don't. You can hand them to me and get them back when you leave. We only accept ninja scrolls and weapons from Hyuga clan members. Also—, no type of toxins, antibiotics, nor inoculations unless they're from certified Leaf Village medical shinobi and prescribed to a Hyuga clan member."

Toshiro sighed, digging in his pockets to pull out shurikens and kunai knives. He then pulled out his ninja scrolls from his back pocket, two pocket knives in both of his shoes, knives hidden in his gloves, and unbuckled his belt, to where multiple syringes were lined up on the other side.

The guard stood there, taken aback at what he just witnessed. He was contemplating whether or not he should let either of the boys in.

"You, with the blond hair."

Inochi froze, staring up at him.

"Are you hiding any weapons?"

"No sir. That was all his decision." He spoke lowly with his head down.

"Mhm. Let me pat you down." He walked toward Inochi, making him nervous.

His hands roamed around Inochi's stiff body, feeling around for any prints of weapons on him. However, he was unable to find anything.

"...You're free to go."

Inochi sent a small smile toward the guard, wrapping his hand around Toshiro's wrist as the two walked into the compound.

"So, where is it?" Toshiro questioned eagerly.

Inochi opened his mouth, pulling a small blade from under his tongue.

"You're so good with using your mouth, blondie~." Toshiro teased.

"You're so nasty." He rolled his eyes, putting the blade down in his pocket.

As the two walked through the compound, Toshiro greeted everyone he saw. The boy was such a popular, social butterfly. Everyone knew who he was within the village, and even some outside of the village knew him.

However, all of the greetings had stopped when they made it to Neji's bedroom. They could hear a soft voice from the other side of the door, so they chose to take a listen.

"T-There's not much I can do. I feel like... you should make her feel loved. Show her you care. Her heart is very... fragile, when it comes to you. I can tell."
