chapter twenty five ;; creep

"Hanabi! What're you doing?! You could've knocked!" Neji seethed.

"But I thought...! Y/n was—, she—, what...?"

"W-We're sorry, big brother Neji! We didn't mean to i-interrupt you two!" Hinata spoke with a reddened face. She knew exactly what happened last night when Hanabi asked her. However, she didn't expect it to happen again today. All of this happened because Hanabi was looking for Neji again, and she ended up hearing you two.

He sighed. "Forget it. I have to take her home anyway."

"But—, Neji! What were you two doing?!"

"Stuff you shouldn't be worried about. Lady Hinata, please just do something with her."

"O-Okay! We're sorry again!"

She grabbed Hanabi's hand and hurriedly left to go elsewhere. He went to feel the bath water, and it'd only been cold on his hands. Everything had gotten him annoyed now... and in pain.

"...It hurts." He said, picking up his pants and placing them back on.

"What hurts?" You asked.

He pointed to his crotch, and you immediately knew what he was talking about.

"I—?" You tilted your head. "I'm sorry...?"

You watched as he winced, attempting to massage the pain away. However, it hadn't helped him at all. You blinked.

"Um... maybe... uh... I-I don't know. I'm not sure how to help you."

"It's f-fine." He walked toward you, extending his arms so he could hold you. "I'm just gonna change you out of this... a-and we'll get going."

"Okay..."

He reached to pick you up, strong arms holding you easily. Neji walked outside of the bathroom with you, walking back to his bedroom to change you out of the dirtied shirt you were in.

After he prepared you both to leave, you two headed into the village to go home—, your home. He chose to take the longer and less populated route so there wouldn't be much attention drawn to you.

"Neji." You called out.

"What's up?"

"You can... stay with me for a bit if you want.

"Uh—," He cleared his throat. "S-Sure... Saya must be on her first mission?"

"Yeah, I'm worried for her, though."

"She'll be fine. She's your little sister after all. And besides, maybe we can finish what we started."

"...I don't know. That was embarrassing, I might get reminded of it."

"I don't know what happened, Hanabi's been pressing me about why I was 'hurting a girl', so I told her to go to Lady Hinata. I wasn't expecting her to come back."

"Be quieter next time."

"You told me to beg."
