A First Unlocked

Meredith's POV:
I got off work at five, it's currently six fourth three and I need to get ready. Maggie is watching the kids for me. I go upstairs take a quick shower then get out and throw on jeans because I didn't want to be to fancy. I get black jeans with a red silky tank top and a cream colored cardigan. I put on high heels and a necklace that has an 'M' on it. I put on some light make up, diamond earrings. I blow dry and loosely curl my hair then hear a knock at my door. I walk downstairs it's 7:55 so Cormac is early but that's honestly a good sign. I open the door to see Cormac's standing in a nice pair of jeans and a white button down shirt holding roses a balloon and a gift bag. I smile "come in." I say moving out of the way so he can enter the house. "Thank you." He says. I close the door. "I know you don't do holidays but I felt like not getting you something would have been rude." He says I smile. "You should have told me, I would have gotten you something." I reply looking in his eyes. "No need. I have everything I want." He says looking me up and down. "You look beautiful." He continues I look down trying to hide the fact that I was blushing. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." I say. "Here open it." He hands me the gift bag, balloon, and roses. "Roses are my favorite, thank you. I say he smiles and puts his hands in his pocket. I rest the roses gently in my arm like a baby being careful not to smush them. "Here let me hold those so you can open this." Cormac says taking the flowers from my arm. I smile but don't reply I open the gift bag and pull out a box that's black looking up at Cormac who's smiling out of excitement. I open it to reveal a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond small pendant. I gasp "Cormac it's beautiful!" I say looking at it. "Not as beautiful as you. Do you want to put it on?" He asks I nod "let me take this one off though." I say unclasping the necklace I already have on. Cormac gently places the flowers on the end table next to him then helps clasp my new necklace on. He takes both ends holding them in front of me with one hand brush my hair out of the way with the other. He then hooks the end together and fixes my hair. He walks in front of me and looks at my neck then slowly traces his eye up to my eyes. "You really do look beautiful." He says. I smile "thank you, cormac." I reply. He's standing close to me looking right in my eyes silent for a few moments "take it slow... unlock one first at a time." I whisper breaking the silence. He licks his lips lightly "I'm not one for slow..." he responds I smile placing my hand gently on his chest. "Mhm... I see that." I say he smiles. "Fine... let's go or we'll be late." He says playfully rolling his eyes. He takes my hand and leads me to his car opening the passenger side door of his SUV.

We get to Jackson's house where Cormac parks in the driveway. He gets out then walks around to open my door. "Thank you." I say he smiles "you're welcome." Cormac replies.

Cormac's POV:
Meredith looked really pretty and to be honest the only thing I want to do I kiss her. We walk in to Jackson's house side by side holding hands. I smile as her hand took mine. We to his door where Meredith stops to knock. "Wait..." I say as she turns to look at me raising her eyebrow. "Do we have to go in? My house is empty and I have all night..." I protest. She smiles placing her hand on my chest which drives me insane in a good way. "Yes. We have to go in but we don't have to stay the whole time." She replies I look at her but I don't say anything "Meredith... I'm going to end up kissing you by the end of the night." I say breaking the silence of our look. She smiles "I know." Then knocks on the door. Jackson opens it "hey guys! I'm glad you could make it." He says before hugging Meredith kissing her on the cheek as a way to greet her. I got a little jealous but remind myself they're just friends. Meredith and I kind of split up for awhile before I next her to meet me by the bathroom. "Hey." She says walk up to me. "Hi cutie." I reply. She smiles. "Can we please leave now?" I asks she smiles then makes a sad face "what's wrong?" She asks in return. "Nothing is wrong... I just think our plans should evolve a little." I reply.

Meredith just looks at me for a minute placing her hand on my hip. "You have really pretty eyes." I say "thanks you." She replies. We both stop talking and start moving slowly closer to each other as if our lips are magnetic "I'm going to kiss you... don't freak out." Meredith says barely loud enough for me to hear. I slightly nod. Then her lips meet mine releasing all the chemistry we had built the last two and a half months. I place my hands on her back as the kid grows a little more passionate. She stops kissing me pulling away to look at my eyes. "New first..." she whispers "unlocked" we say at the same time she smiles. "I'll unlock all my firsts with you.." I say. She shakes her head. "I'm sure you would... I have a party to get to." She says before she starts to walk away. I gently grab her wrist twisting her back to face me kissing her once more, this time longer. She pulls away only because she needed air. "You really do want to leave." She teases. I smile "I didn't lie." I reply as she walks away.

I was going to make this only 3 or 4 chapters... should I make it a full story?
