Cuddles

Meredith's POV:
I wake up to Cormac kissing my temple with his arms wrapped around my waist. I was laying on my side my back to Cormac. "Good morning beautiful." He whispers in my ear. I smile and snuggle up closer to him. He knew I wasn't a morning person and that I wasn't going to answer him yet. I interlock my fingers with his pulling his hand to my face kissing it lightly. I turn so I'm facing him with my eyes closed. Cormac pulls me closer to his body. I rest my head up against his chest gently kissing it. "You're freezing." Cormac says moving his arm in mine. I nod as he pulls the blankets up covering me all the way to my neck. "Babe.." he says. His morning voice was thick. I could just melt at the sound of his voice. I smile as the side of my face pressed against his chest "hm?" I hum keeping my eyes closed. "We gotta get up." He replies kissing my forehead. "Mh mm. Kids are still sleeping." I say. He chuckles "they are but babe." He protests. "Shhh cuddles." I respond. Cormac holds me close to him rubbing his hand up and down my bare arm. I have on a tank top. "Dad.." Liam calls from outside. I groan not wanting Cormac to move "come in Liam." I call back. "You two are adorable" Liam says sitting on the bed next to Cormac. "Awe look she's smiling. Dad she loves you." Liam says. Cormac chuckles "what's up bud?" He asks. "Are we staying here today? I like it here with all the kids and Bailey wants to show me his swings." Liam says. I open my eyes and look up at Cormac. "Yeah dad.. are you staying here today?" I say copying Liam. "I don't know buddy." Cormac replies I make a sad face laying back on Cormac. "Meredith I told you last night you made me sad sometimes... you don't I-I- you don't make me sad. You make me happy." Liam says walking out of the room. I look up at Cormac who is smiling. "I make him happy..." I repeat Liam. Cormac nod's.

Cormac's POV:
Meredith was so cute in the mornings. "You do. You make me happy too..." I reply as Meredith puckers her lips for a kiss. I lean down and then pull away before she even tries to stick her tongue in my mouth. "Does this... mean? Cor-" Meredith smiles as she places her hand on my bare chest. "Yes. Mer, will you date me again? I don't feel like we ever stopped but..." Meredith shoots up kissing me then pulling away.

"Don't ever freaking do that again." She says narrowing her eyebrows making her forehead have wrinkles. "Do what?" I ask placing my hand on her thigh that was next to my face. "Make me cry like a baby." She explains. I laugh "that was cute... sad but cute." I reply. Meredith grabs her pillow lightly hitting me with it. "Hey!" I say as she does it again. "Mer!" I grab a pillow sitting up so it's fair game. Meredith hits my chest with the pillow. "That's it!" I say wrapping my hands around her waist holding her over my shoulder as she laughs. I throw her gently on to the bed collapsing next to her. "I love you." She says placing both her hand on me. "I love you too." I reply as the door opens again.

It was Austin rubbing his eyes dragging his teddy bear. "Good morning!" Meredith says as he walks over to her. "You used to be a daddies boy..." I say watching Mer pick him up as his head relaxes over her shoulder. "He's a Mer Mer's boy now." Meredith says looking at me. "Mommy." Ellis says in the doorway of our room. I smile "good morning Ellis." I say walking over to her. Ellis puts her arms up for me to pick her up. "Ellis you're a big girl, you can walk." Meredith says watch us. Ellis starts crying to I pick her up carrying her next to Meredith when I sit down. "We swapped kids." Meredith says a I laugh "we did indeed." I reply. Ellis continues to cry in my ear. "Ellis I'm going to put you down." I say in what Liam calls my 'dad voice' Ellis turns her head so she's facing my neck and not Meredith but continues to cry. "Ellis youre getting me all wet look." I say she sits up seeing the puddle she left on my shoulder which makes her laugh.

"How did you sleep el?" I ask her as she wipes her hand on my shoulder "good." She replies I smile as she lays back down on my shoulders. "Tormat I love you." She says Meredith turns to look at both of us. I make a sad face looking back at her "I love you too." I reply. Ellis hops off my lap running into her room to play. "The way she says your name is adorable... with the t instead of c." Meredith says standing up with Austin. "She's adorable." I reply. "Thank you babe." Meredith says kiss me. "Ewww." Austin says watching me pull away from Mer. We both smile.
