Feel's Like Heaven

Meredith's POV:
Falling on to Cormac's lap was incredibly embarrassing. I had just told him to stop making me fall for him but here I am literally falling. I walk back from the bathroom after fixing my hair and shirt to see Cormac. I sit back in my seat. "You sure you're okay?" He asks I look roll my eyes and smile. "I'm fine... can we just... forget the whole thing happened please?" I reply he laughs. "Probably not it was kind of hot." He responds. I shake my head at him "falling is hot?" I question raising one eyebrow "well... you falling for me... and on me... and sitting on my lap. Yeah, yeah Mer that's hot." He says I laugh "mm no it's incredible embarrassing but... okay." I reply he rolls his eyes and leans forward putting his hand on my knee. "You're cute." He says. "The sparkly eye's... Cormac no." I say he leans back then stands up and sits next to me. "Stop. You're afraid and shouldn't be... let's talk about first I want a new story." He says I smile because he was cute trying to calm me down. "Uhh what first do you want?" I ask. He looks at me as I lean my head over lightly laying it on his shoulder. "First memorable plane ride after Derek... it fits because we're on a plane." He answers. I sigh. "Okay but it's not a good one." I say he laughs "I'm scared... I think?" He says in a questioning voice. I laugh.

Flashback (Mer-Nathan 13x20):

I'm on a plane flying to a conference. Plane's are already a cold scary place for me as my kid sister Lexie died from a plane crash year's ago. I get on and sit down in my seat where there's an upset kid next to me. A guy starts complaining about him a few rows behind us. I can tell the mother of the child is stressed and upset about the crass man. I turn around to help out the mom and tell him to stop. "Do you have a problem with a crying child?" I ask the very rude man. "I mean.." he scoffs. "As if his mother isn't under enough stress, you wanna add to it make it worse?" I interrupt him. "I just want to focus on my briefing." He replies "well there are complimentary earplug's in the seat pocket. Use those." I say turning around to sit correctly in my seat again. The mother thanks me and explains her situation some before the father of her little boy Diego walks over and kneels down beside my seat. "Excuse me, sorry. Marisela, are you okay? I can hear him from my seat. W-w-w-w- you want me to take him?" He asks. "It's okay go sit back down. But I reserve the right to switch out mid-flight, because mama's gonna need a glass of whine... or three." She says I chuckle "you guys weren't able to sit together?" I question. "Like I said last minute." Marisela responds. "Oh, we'll do you want you to?" I offer "thank you her husband says.

I get my bag and walk down the isle of the plane to take his seat. I arrive at where his seat is to find the man I've been talking to, more like the man I'm trying to get away from. "Hello." He says confused. "Hi." I reply unhappy. "Where'd you come from?" He asks. "Four C." I reply buckling my seat belt. "I was being a Good Samaritan and reuniting a family, serves me right" I continue making eye contact with him. "What are you doing here?" I ask in return. "Going to the conference." He replies. We chat some more as the plane takes off we stop talking and I try to ignore him. "Why isn't she talking to you?" The woman named Ingrid who is seated in between us asks. "Well, we got together in her car. Then we stayed apart, then we were colleagues, which lead into friends, which got us back together sort of. Or at least it was going to and then-" he explains "and then nothing for very good reasons." I interrupt. "She has a sister." Riggs says. "You cheated with her sister?" Ingrid asks with a gasp. "No, no god no." Riggs laughs. "No, there was no cheating because there was no us." I cut in again as the light that says you can unbuckle comes on. "She's oversimplifying it" Riggs says. I walk away to the bathroom to get out of the conversation and to get some peace and quiet. Nathan follows me to the bathroom thinking I motioned for him to come into the bathroom with me. We chat is the small airplane bathroom until I kiss him the kiss grows more passionate.

After the bathroom we go back to our seats and sit down the plane starts to shake so I quickly put my seatbelt on. "You don't like flying?" I ask "not my favorite." Nathan replies holding his arms rests looking scared "me either" I say. "Plane crash." We continue to say at the same time. After we share our stories of our crashes the plane we're in shakes bad sending people and bags everywhere.

Cormac looks at me surprised as I tell the story. "Wait you had sex and then almost died?" He asks shocked I nod "well we weren't dying but yes... I saved a life too." I say summing up the rest of the story. Cormac places his hand on my knee sending a shiver down my spine. I look at him as he turns to look at me too. Our eyes lock and I feel my stomach do a backflip this man is driving me crazy. I softly place my hand on his hand. "Mer..." he whispers in his thick Irish accent making me lightly sigh. I grip his hand gently, still looking into his ocean blue eye's. I start to move his hand up stopping as his hand gets to my thigh. "I-I" he stutter's I lightly bite my bottom lip as he moves his hand to my inner thigh. I unknowingly start to lean forward. My lips barely touch his soft lips hesitantly. He then kisses me.

Cormac's POV:
Meredith leans into my kiss her soft lips interlocking with mine. Her tongue slowly entering my mouth. It felt like heaven. It felt perfect. I have been waiting to kiss her like this but now that I am I just want to kiss her more. I want to make it more passionate. I forgot where we were for a minute. She pulls away as I move my hand deeper down her thigh. We both sigh lightly "Meredith." I say she smiles with a soft chuckle "Mhm?" She asks. "I- tha- yo- Mer..." I continue. She places her hand on my check "I kissed you." She says I nod "you... seem surprised..." she continues I shake my head no. "No, no I mean I am but not like that. I-I'm happy. I just didn't think you'd be the one making the first move." I reply she smiles "I'm full of surprises." She says.

The pilot comes on the intercom asking us to make sure our seatbelt are fastened and that we will be landing very soon.
