Cormac's POV:
Meredith and I have to go to a news conference at grey Sloan today so we're not going to be home untill later. Meredith has been spending a lot of time at my house but I don't really go to her house. I haven't met her kids yet we haven't said I love you... I don't know if this relationship is going anywhere for me. I don't know if I still want to do this.

"Doctor Grey, good morning." I say as Jo Bailey and Meredith walk into the conference room. "I don't know why you're saying good morning as if you haven't spoken to her already." Jo says. I place my hand in the rough fabric of my lab coat. "Morning Doctor Bailey, Doctor Wilson." I say walking next to Meredith. "I uh- need to talk to you later okay?" I say turning to meet her eyes. She nods as I walk to find a seat.

Meredith's POV:
I go to sit down next to Cormac he seems distant. He didn't look at me, place his hand on my leg, he didn't talk to me. "Babe are you okay?" I ask looking at him look the other way. "Doctor Grey I'm fine." He says. He knew I needed more to actually believe him. He turns his head placing his hand on my cheek pulling me in for a kiss. It felt like a habit, small, quick, but wasn't how he normally kisses me. "I'm okay." He says. I smile "okay." I reply soft laying my head on his shoulder. He didn't smile when I smiled, he didn't look at me like I was the only person in the room. "Doctor Hayes can I talk to you in your office for a second please." I say picking my head up. "No... we are at a conference." He replies. "Hayes it's fine we don't have to be here. I promise and I want to talk to you please." I continue. He nods as we both stand up and walk out.

"What is up?" I ask sitting down as he walks behind his desk sitting in his chair. "I'm sorry" he replies confusing me. "Cormac we are in a relationship. We are a couple. It's not alway going to be happy. Communicate with me tell me what you need and want." Cormac rubs his hand down his face. "I- I just I've never slept at your house or met your kids and I just- I don't know where this is going." I look at him and smile "Cormac I'm sorry. Do you want to come over tonight? You can bring the boys I'll make dinner and you can finally meet my kids?" I ask. I wasnt just trying to fix this argument I was planning on asking him at lunch. "I don't just want you to say 'oh yeah I'm ready' for me Meredith. I don't want to push you to do things your not ready for." Our eyes lock and we both smile "I was going to ask you come over over at lunch. I'm ready babe." I reply as his smile grows some. "Okay... I'm sorry for being an ass." Cormac says. I laugh "Its okay, it was kind of hot." I reply.

He laughs standing up and walking to me. I stand up to see him going on my tippy toes to give him a kiss. He pulls away from me. "Meredith..." he says placing his head on my forehead "hm?" I hum in response "I-" he stutters so I place my hand gently on his chest in a way to comfort him. "I love you." He says picking his head up. I look at him and smile. I smile so much my eyes close. "I love you." I reply. He hugs me lifting in the air spinning. I laugh as I wrap my legs around his waist "I'm gonna say it all the time now... just because I can. I love you." He says holding me. "I love you too." I say kissing him. My hair falls to the side of our faces cormac brushes it back as he sticks his tongue in my mouth. I moan as he places me on his desk. He pulls away from our kiss moving to my neck. "No babe we have to get back to the conference. Later." I say my voice is weak. He chuckles "okay." And pulls away holding his hand out for me to take as we walk out of the room. "Wait we are going to be home late tonight..." Cormac says as we walk into the conference room. "Yeah, it's okay I can still make dinner. You guys can spend the night." I reply sitting down in the back. Cormac sits down next to me placing his hand on my thigh. I rest me head on his shoulder holding on to his arm. "I love you." Cormac whispers I chuckle "I love you too." I whisper back.

Jo's POV:
Cormac was acting weird with Mer earlier and I could tell they were both bothered by it. "Grey!" I shout as everyone starts to walk out of the room. Meredith and Cormac turn to face me. "I'll see you later?" Cormac says looking at Meredith she nods as he walks away.
