Coffee

Cormac's POV:
Meredith slept through the night last night for the first time in about three weeks. She slept laying stretched out on top of me her head on my chest. I continuously moved my hand rubbing circles on her back until I fell asleep myself. I woke up to her and I on our sides her arms still wrapped around me. I smile. Gently and carefully wrapping my arms around her wanting to hold on to this moment for as long as I can. I gently kiss her forehead my lips barely touching her before slowly standing up walking to the master bathroom. I close the door making sure not to wake Meredith. I quickly shower hopping out wrapping a towel loosely around my waist to walk back to our room. I smile as I see Meredith sleeping still. I walk over to the bed sitting down next to her "Mer." I say quietly. She doesn't move. "Mer baby" I say shaking her hip lightly with my hand. She stirs but stays asleep. I sigh. "Mer" I kiss her cheek. Her eyes flutter open. "Good morning beautiful" I whisper brushing her hair back. "No." She whines her voice still sleepy "I let you sleep late." I say as she closes her eyes again. She shakes her head no. "Yes I did, I already showered." I protest as Meredith moves her hand to her stomach. I smile watching her sit up some looking at me with a smirk.

Meredith's POV:
I lean forward kissing Cormac softly on the lips. "I love you." I whisper pulling away. "I love you more" he replies pulling me into his lap. "We leave today and you promised to bring Liam to that restaurant for his date..." Cormac says as I look down at him. "Mhm but it's..." I push him back into the bed leaning over him. I flip my phone over "only eight" I say hovering over him. He grins "the kids are up..." he protests. I raise an eyebrow "I can be quite." I say as I begin to kiss his neck. He lets out a deep moan as I move closer to his collarbone. "Shit babe" I chuckle biting down on his warm skin. "Lock the door" I say pulling back.

Cormac's POV:
I move Meredith walking to the door locking it to come back hovering over her. "You have to be quiet" I whisper. She nods bitting her bottom lip. Meredith is laying on the bed in black panties, and my tee-shirt. I grin leaning down some. "D-don't tease me" she says as I begin to kiss her neck. "Shh" I reply moving to the spot just behind her ear that her and I both know makes her completely weak.

I lay next to Meredith both of us sweaty and completely naked. "I love you" I whisper grabbing her hand locking my fingers with hers. "I love you" she replies. "I have to get ready to go" she turns her head looking at me I do the same. "What if we go on a date? We can drop the kids off at their date and go somewhere close." Meredith chuckles. "Liam might kill me..." she says. "He'll be okay come on" I stand up wrapping my towel back around my waist looking over Meredith to his laying with a very thin sheet covering her. "Baby come on" I say holding my hand out for her.

"A date sounds amazing..." she says sitting up on her elbows the sheet staying in place. "But" I say realizing there's more to her sentence "I really just want you to hold me." She explains "I just want to be in your arms, maybe in your shirt with you messing with my hair." She confesses. I can't help but smile at how freaking adorable she is. "Meredith... I promise I will hold you after. I will hold you all night. I will hold you hand while we walk and in the car." I say as she smiles "but right now I want nothing more than to spoil you." I confess. She nods softly biting her lip. I sigh "Jesus. Don't do that." I say holding my hand out for her to take. "Go get dressed and meet me in the kitchen. I kiss her cheek hugging her "I love you" I whisper hearing a sniffle. "H-hey. What's wrong?" I ask pulling her slightly away from me. "I just love you. I love you so much." She says. I smile pulling her back her head rests on my shoulder my hand on her back and her head. "I love you too. Go get ready." I say as she pulls away.

Meredith's POV:
"Liam dad and I are going to be at the restaurant right next to the coffee place your taking Liv... I want you to text me if you leave and text me when she get here if she's not here already." I say looking through the rearview mirror at him. Cormac smile turning to look at me lightly squeezing my thigh where his hand is resting. "Jeeze mom. It's not she gonna kidnap me." Liam replies with a small laugh. "You don't know that." I park and turn around to see him as he unbuckles. "I love you and want you to be safe." I finish my sentence "ok." He replies almost defensively "hey..." Cormac cuts in. "Be good, here's money. Don't buy her too much but don't let her pay. Remember everything we talked about." He says handing him two one hundred dollar bills. "Thank you." Liam says we both nod as he checks himself out in the mirror "ok." He mumbles tubing his hands on his shirt. We all get out. "Nervous?" I ask he nods "you'll be okay. I promise." I pull him in for a hug. "Can girls tell?" I laugh. "If you're nervous?" I question kissing the top of his head he nods "some. Go have fun." Cormac hugs him before taking my hand in his.

"What are we doing after lunch?" He asks swinging our hands lightly as we walk. "Hey Mr. and Mrs. Hayes" Liv says as we approach the sidewalk. I look up at Cormac who waves with a smile "have fun don't get into to much trouble." He says squeezing my hand. "Hey Liv, your dress is pretty." I reply smiling "thank you... both. Have fun." Cormac nod's as we walk into the restaurant.

Liam's POV:
I walk over to liv her brunette with touch of golden hair is wavy and down, she is in a white dress that's tight on top and flowy on the bottom which compliments her olive skin perfectly. She has on a I think crossbody bag that's a light brown and has on sunglasses. I smile "you look beautiful Liv." I say holding my hand out for her. She blushes at my comment which dad says is a good sign. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." She says pulling the caller of the button up tee shirt I'm wearing. "Come on let's go find a table." I smile taking her hand as I walk.

Mentally questioning if she can tell I'm nervous or that I'm sweating. Standing in line she looks at me before resting her head on my shoulder immediately making my smile bigger. We order iced coffees and find a table outside that gives Meredith and dad a perfect view of us. I roll my eyes as dad smiles at me.

"Oh here let me help you with that." I say pulling livs chair out she smiles sitting down "thank you liam" she says as I push her in some. I sit down myself instantly making small talk. 

"Do you have any siblings?" She asks I smile and nod "I do a brother; Austin. And Meredith who is engaged to my dad has three Zola, Ellis and Bailey. Bailey is the middle kid he's pretty cool. Do you have siblings?" Liv smiles as I talk about my big family "no... my mom past away after she had me. It's just my dad and I." I nearly choke as she says this.
