Stalking people is weird.
But it's not like she's doing it willingly— okay, maybe she's doing it willingly but look, she's doing it for the greater good, okay?
And maybe because she has a crush on the person she's following which, now that she realizes it, kind of sounds so obsessive and psycho but trust me, she's far from that.
Maybe a bit weird and "gifted," but she's not a downright psychopath!
Perrie Edwards watches down on her brunette lab partner right from a street lamp, sitting on top of it as she swings her feet back and forth, although not wanting to gain the girl's attention.
And it's not like she's just desperate to y'know, watch the girl's every step but she knew that she walked alone and with the glee club taking more time than expected it's dangerous for her to be alone in the streets.
You might be wondering, though, "how come Perrie's not worried about herself?"
Well, like I said, she wasn't exactly normal. A radioactive spider bit her blah blah blah, she became a superhuman with spider powers blah blah blah, the Avengers might've kicked her ass in Germany blah blah blah, you know the story!
From down on the ground, Jade Thirlwall had this gut feeling that someone was following her and she did not like it one bit.
Like sure, there's this "Spider-Man," dude going around their neighborhood and suddenly it's a lot safer but there's no fucking way that whoever that superhuman is will find her, right?
So, she quickens her pace, gripping her bag tight as she took in ragged breaths, wanting to get away from whatever's following her and—
"If you're going to be a creep, be a creep somewhere else,"
Perrie stood in front of Jade as she held a middle aged man by his feet, watching as Jade turned around to face her, in utter shock as she came face to face with—
"You're a girl?" The smaller Geordie blubbers, narrowing her eyes as she stares at the masked vigilante in front of her and Perrie, who was underneath the said mask, stifles a laugh before shooting a line of web from the top of the pole, sticking it to the man's feet, leaving him suspended in the air.
"Did everyone think that I was a boy?" She asks, chuckling as the brunette stood there, bewildered, blushing a bit at the other girl's teasing tone, "Well... yeah?"
"You're adorable."
Oh fuck that sounded bad.
"For someone who just caught a creep, you sure are acting like one." Jade smirks as she crosses her arms, although feeling a bit safer this time knowing that Spider...woman? Girl? Whatever, was now with her.
"Did you just call me a creep?" Perrie asks, gasping a bit as Jade nods, smiling and tilting her head, "I mean, who knows? You might also be a middle aged woman after all."
"I am not!" The masked hero says defensively, growling at the girl's playful tone as she takes down the man from being suspended into the air, now simply sticking his arm and body on the pole itself before picking up Jade's bag, "Let me walk you home."
"Mhm, not a creep." Jade grins jokingly, yet still walking along with the taller girl, getting a few meters away when she speaks again.
"Shut up, Thirlwall." Well, shit.
Jade's suddenly pale as a sheet, arching her eyebrow as she stared at the masked girl, "How do you know my last name?"
And, okay, Perrie might be saving lots of people around their neighborhood and maybe even the entire city of London and she might be one of the smartest people in her year, not to mention, all she does is lie about her identity but suddenly she can't think of one single thing to save her when Jade stares at her, urging her to answer.
