"Enemies to lovers are the best trope."

Wrong.

"Friends to lovers are the best trope."

Also wrong.

"Oh my god will the two of you shut the fuck up already?" Leigh-Anne grumbles, eyes half closed as she rubbed her fingers harshly against her temples, already sick and tired of the two Geordies.

Dear lord how is she going to handle this without Jesy? Literally... how?

"No wonder Jes left." She scoffs under her breath, using it as a way to cope because you know... they might've moved on from it and knew that there was no way in hell that they're a four anymore but... it still hurts to know that they'll never be a four anymore.

"That's mean." Jade pouts from the side as she sends a glare towards Perrie's way, still disagreeing with her as the blonde radiated the same energy back at her, still mumbling on her way to the couch, Leigh stood in the middle of the room.

They just had their photoshoot for Glamour and just accepted their award, having won the Women of The Year, an incredible feat to win, especially now.

And, for some reason Leigh-Anne thought that it would be a splendid idea to film it at her home... yeah that wasn't so good after all considering that she might have to sleep with the two Geordies to prevent her home from being a crime scene.

"No it's not. We literally saw her at the studio the other day and she walked away because you two were yelling at each other." The darker skinned girl chuckles at the memory, this time, it was Perrie's turn to retort.

"No, you saw her at the studio—"

"Correct. Because you two were literally an inch away from shoving your tongues down each other's throats."

That ought to shut up the two.

You see, days before Jesy's departure, she and Leigh-Anne, being the two oldest members and dubbed as the "moms," of the group had a little dinner together, watching basketball games and eating whatever load of rubbish they could get their hands on.

They had a little moment, a sort of "passing the torch," moment and talked about how different it would be without her in the group yet still promise each other to, you know, be still friends. She left the band not the group.

Corny, yes, but it was heartfelt. And Leigh would treasure that night as one of her favorite memories.

But one thing that caught her off guard was one of Jesy's random sentences during that night, suddenly tearing Leigh's eyes away from the intense game at how ridiculous her best friend sounded.

"And before I forget, keep an eye out on Jade and Perrie. God knows what they'd do if you let them out of your sight." She chuckles, shaking her head as the other girl narrowed her eyes, actually confused.

"What?" She asks, tilting her head a bit to grab the ginger's attention when Jesy gasps, now facing her as she stared at her incredulously, "Oh my god?"

"Jes! Come on, what do you mean?" She insists when the older girl suddenly bursts out into a wave of laughter, "I thought they were oblivious! Hell, you didn't know? You didn't see?"

It took her a few seconds before it finally clicked on her.

I mean, yeah, Jade and Perrie have always looked at each other differently than the way they looked at her and Jesy but...?

"Don't tell me they're fucking, Jessica."

"Oh, but they did."

That was all it took for Leigh to collapse on the couch and for Jesy to start laughing.
