When you fall in love, you either know it immediately.

Or, you take time to realize it.

Slowly. So agonizingly slow, to the point where it drives you mad that it took you this long to realize how in love you are.

Perrie Edwards could only clear her throat over and over again to ease the awkwardness inside the studio. I mean, it was awkward for her not the other people inside it.

Why wouldn't it be awkward? She just got slapped with words she never thought she'd hear. She never thought she'd get slapped with the truth.

"I think you've fallen in love and you just haven't realized it."

Jade's words go back and forth inside her mind, in a timeless loop that never seems to stop.

Perrie's fallen in love.

Only problem is, with who?

"Perrie... Pez? Hello? Earth to Perrie?" Jade worriedly mutters, shaking the other girl lightly, the blonde blinks, shaking her head, getting dragged back down to Earth, "What?"

"You kinda zoned out there, babe." The brunette tells her and she feels a light lump in her throat, nervously scratching her head as she stares at her, "Did I?"

Jade nods, bringing her hand up to touch the other girl's forehead, "Yeah. Are you alright?" She asks, Perrie laughs, taking her hand gently and putting it down, "I'm fine."

"Sure..." She says, unconvinced by the taller girl.

Not sure where to go from here, the blonde sits up straighter than she has been, clearing her throat and adjusting her clothes as she peers at the familiar brown eyes she has grown to adore for the past decade, "I swear, Jade. Now what do you need?"

"Well, Uzo and Kamille are staying behind. I was wondering if you're staying with them?" She motions to the two producers sitting by the booth, she then cranes her neck, looking at the two, "Do I have permission to go?"

"You two are free to go." Kamille replies without looking up from her songbook, Perrie nods, gathering her things and beckoning Jade to come with her as they exit the studio. Leigh-Anne was unavailable for the day, with the press tour for her movie and all, so the two are stuck with each other for the time being.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Jade asks once more for good measure, Perrie sighs, reaching into her pockets for her key, "Why wouldn't I be?"

And the older of the two stops in her tracks, hugging herself as she shyly hides behind her bag, "Nothing, you just feel off."

"I'm fine, Jade." Perrie reassures. It was cute to see Jade worrying about her like this. I mean, yeah, sure, she kinda is the reason why she's acting up but she's cute so she'll let it slide.

"Okay." And, look, Perrie knew well enough that she was most likely going to commute, and that didn't sit well with her. I mean, it's nighttime, she doesn't really want Jade walking around London alone.

"Do you have anyone to drive you home?" She asks, tossing her keys back and forth, Jade begins to blush, realizing that the blonde is sort of asking her if she wanted a ride, "Will you—"

The blonde doesn't even give her a direct answer. She simply takes her hand, entwining their hands together like they've always done. This was natural. This was right. But somehow, it still sends jolts of electricity up and down Perrie's spine.

"Let's get some dinner first, yeah?" She laughs, ignoring the feeling inside her stomach. Maybe it was hunger. Maybe it was something else. But it doesn't matter.
