If there's one thing that all three members of Little Mix can agree on, it's their love of Halloween. Costumes and all the parties aside, they really just love hanging out together in stupid onesies while eating candies they're supposed to give out. Watching slasher films and arguing between who's going to hide behind Perrie.
I mean, it's always gonna be Jade seen as she's literally her girlfriend but she lets Leigh-Anne hide behind her from time to time.
This year isn't any different. Did they scrap a member? Well, yeah. But is it going to change anything? Well, yes. It's going to be more fun without her anyway.
"I wish you would actually put on scary movies. Not Hocus Pocus." Perrie mocks, rolling her eyes playfully and staring at the two girls in front of them when Leigh-Anne snorts, a small smirk appearing on her lips, "I'm putting the Boyz music video on."
Jade howls in laughter and the blonde stares at her bewildered, not really expecting that dig coming from her, but she reacts with a laugh as well, shaking her ehad, "That's literal torture!"
Deciding that they've had enough of mentioning her, Leigh-Anne takes her place beside Perrie on the couch, "I put on Scream."
And maybe Jade was just high on caffeine, maybe it was the halloween rush, but she swore she saw the two exchange a knowing look. Maybe they had an inside joke, maybe they remembered something, maybe it was nothing. Jade learned not to overthink these things because she's sure she and Leigh-Anne also share the same look unconsciously sometimes.
"Great choice. It's better than last year." Her girlfriend chuckles, staring at her again, and Jade's had enough, growling at her and chucking a pillow towards her direction, "It's not my fault I wanted to watch Halloweentown and not Halloween you sick fuck."
"I can feel the love between you two." Leigh teases, and Perrie ignores the smaller girl's comments, opening her arms instead, "Come here baby."
"No."
"No? Alright. Don't hide behind me when you get scared then."
One, two, three...
"I'm kidding!" At the count of three, Jade was in Perrie's arms again, barely sitting on the couch as she adjusted herself on the blonde's lap, their older bandmate gags, "You disgust me."
They start the movie and it was filled with the usual banter and laughter in between, but about halfway through, Leigh-Anne starts shifting, twisting and turning so she could get a view of the large window a few feet behind them.
"What was that?" She asks, forcing the blonde to pause the movie as she wraps an arm around the brunette, curiously peering above the taller girl's shoulder, "What?"
"I heard something." And maybe it was her imagination, but Jade swears she sees Leigh-Anne and Perrie share that look again. But like earlier, she shrugs it off.
"It's probably just some kids trick or treating." The blonde reasons, staying quiet for a while until they hear kids screaming from outside, smiling, she turns to her best friend, "See?"
Somewhat relieved, Leigh-Anne nods, facing the TV again and playing the movie, "Okay."
Apart from some kids knocking for candy, their movie night continues slowly, pausing it twice because Jade had to refill her cup and Leigh-Anne had to pee.
