When Jade and Perrie found out that Leigh was having a baby, the blonde literally thought that she was going to pass out.
It was either that or Jade was going to pass out but they can't just pass out in front of a pregnant woman that would be bad for the baby!
"You're kidding." The blonde mutters, her eyes widened in shock as Leigh-Anne nods slowly, unable to keep her smile hidden from the two, Jade just couldn't keep her eyes away from the bump.
"We literally just shot a damn music video and you tell us now? You did choreo!" She says incredulously, waving her arms around and wanting to tell the girl off when Leigh chuckles, "I asked the doctor if I could. The choreo wasn't that extreme, anyway."
"You're insane." Says Perrie, "Unhinged." Jade provides.
The older woman could only shake her head and stare at them in complete bliss, she expected this from the two, and frankly, she expected worse. So to see them being truly concerned for her— yeah, she knew she was in good hands if she suddenly gave birth in the middle of a photoshoot with the two.
"And you two need to calm down." She answers them, the brunette blinks, "Leigh-Anne, sweetie, you're pregnant."
"And?"
Perrie narrows her eyes, "And it's our duty as your best friends to protect that child." She mutters, pointing to the girl's belly, Jade nods, agreeing with her, "You two act like you're the father."
"Well we might as well be!" The younger Geordie exclaims, now pacing back and forth as Leigh-Anne stares at them, watching them just go into a full meltdown like it's funny— I mean it was but she felt bad for laughing at them— all because she was pregnant. The two should really get a grip they weren't even supposed to find our right now but the idiots lost their stuff and now instead of annoying her to help them search for the stuff they lost, she needs to calm them down before they wrap Leigh-Anne in bubble wrap so she wouldn't get hurt.
"Shouldn't the two of you worry about your missing wedding rings?" She mutters, reminding them what they were actually supposed to be doing, oh yeah, the two got married the past year. It was funny, considering that Leigh-Anne had to minister the ceremony but that's for another story!
"We could always get new ones later! You're carrying a child!" Jade exclaims, biting her nails as Perrie stops pacing, Leigh places her head inside her hands, "Oh god."
"I think I had parenting books when Karl was born." The brunette mumbles, the taller girl's eyes light up, "Do you have them at home, babe? Can I read them?" She asks, maybe a bit too excited when their pregnant bandmate stares at them, having enough of the two, "You know what the two of you could do for me?"
"Yes?"
"What can we do for you?"
"Call Andre and get me out of here before the two of you lose your minds."
Yeah... maybe Jade and Perrie kinda lost their minds.
To get into that they got married last year thing, before the girls could even launch the Confetti era and before this mess of a pandemic happened, the two finally decided to tie the knot during their break in a small chapel in South Shields and got Leigh-Anne, and well, Jesy, to minster the ceremony.
Was the ceremony just the two embarrassing them? Well, for the most part, it was. But they wouldn't have it any other way.
And to be fair, the ride was smooth sailing for them. They kinda needed the pandemic, had to learn more things about each other and they learned new things that they could do with each other.
