Virginia's POV:

"How do I look?" I asked Lola over the phone.

"You look good." She said.

"Just good?" I crossed my arms. "Lola I need more than that."

Lola rolled her eyes. "Damn girl! You look fine as hell!"

"I don't wanna know." Carmen walked in.

"Hey babe." Lola smiled. "I'm helping Vir get ready for her date with Nahikari."

"FINALLY!" Carmen jumped on Lola's lap. "Ohhh Vir! You look amazing!"

"I SHOULD'VE CALLED CARMEN!"

"Vir. Nahikari likes you regardless of how you look. Why are you, Leila, Mapi and Jenni such IDIOTS!"

"You're forgetting one person." Carmen smirked.

"Why must you hurt me this way, my love." Lola looked at her.

Carmen laughed. "Listen to her though. Where whatever you feel comfortable in. Nahikari won't care about how you're dressed."

I nodded. "Fine. You're right. She's attracted to how amazing I am. Not how I dress."

"Why to go, Menayo." Lola sighed. "You just made her ego grow."

"Let her have this." Carmen said. "It's about time they got together."

Nahikari's POV:

I looked at my phone. Virginia was late. I was about to go change when there was a knock on the door. I opened it.

"I know. I'm late." She said. "But I stopped to get you flowers and it took forever."

"You're cute." I laughed and took the flowers. "You didn't have to do this." We got ready to leave. We went to the restaurant and she looked around. "You're nervous." I said.

"No I'm not." She scoffed. "Virginia Torrecilla doesn't get nervous." She laughed and got her drink, her hand shaking.

"Vir." I laughed. "Put it down before you spill it."

She put it down and smiled. "I made you laugh."

"You usually do."

"Good. I like hearing you laugh."

We sat around and ate. It was easy being with her. It didn't feel like a first date.

It wasn't weird.

It was worth the wait.

We drove back to my house and she walked me to the door. "I had fun." She smiled.

"So did I." I unlocked the door. "Want to come in?"

"This was only our first date, Garcia. What kind of girl do you take me for?" She smirked.

"I hate you." I laughed.

"I want to." She said. "But I have early check out tomorrow." She sighed. "Back to Madrid I go. We have our game against you in a few weeks."

"Will Mariana be back?"

"She said she's gonna play." She shrugged. "Guess we'll find out."

"Will there be a second date?"

"I hope so." She said. "Do you want a second date?"

"I'd like a second, third, fourth, fifth." I said. "You get the idea."

"I do. I like that you think I can count that high." She winked. I rolled my eyes. "I really do mean it when I say you mean the world to me, Nahi. It's easy being with you. I'm relaxed when I'm with you."
